What do you know about google Sandbox

For the first month a "normal" website will not be able to rank for anything really ... after a month long tail keywords are possible around 6 months there is another big bump on rankings and maybe another after your site is over a year old.

this is not a hard rule but just one of the observations of the many. There are ways to break through the sandbox I guess but unless they have been hit with a penalty you will hardly find a site ranking a lot worse at 7 months vrs 1 month even if their content has not changed.
