Ask me anything about Facebook Ads 2019

Hello, I appreciate this thread and I am reading all your answers more times to get all informations.

I have questions on you :

1) I have local eshop selling woman lipstick, what fb ads would be most profitable? I have two ad sets, first is targeted 22-40 woman and interest in cosmetics, second is 22-40 woman interest only in lipstick. On each ad set - 4 different ads. (all videos). Those videos are in campaign Pay Per Conversion, however, it's more expensive than how many I'll get in reward. Should I do another campaign methods than PPL, for example PPE?
2) People are doing orders but less than 50% of them really pay (i have only bank transfer method). Will card payment increase this number?
3) When I will create lookalike audience, is it possible to include ONLY people who sended me money? Or I will have in this audience people who ordered, however, haven't paid?

Thank you sir.

Just get new credit cards? Can't say I've had this problem

Yes I could do that one or 2 times. But is not scalable. Because I wanna use multiple accounts at the some time using multilogin app. And if I use the same card for every account, when one account is banned every account with the same card get banned too.

1. Broad targeting works best. Keep your audiences sizes 1M+ and let Facebook optimize to find your best customers. Conversion campaigns are always best for eCommerce
2. Yes 100%, I wouldn't run ads until you can do that
3. Yes, it should be but would depend on the eCommerce platform you use (I recommend Shopify)

Why do you need multiple accounts?

Because my accounts get banned, so i want to have some accounts running, to prevent a full stop of my business when one of my accounts get banned.

Better question for you should be why are your ad accounts getting banned?

Well, I use local platform (shoptet), but I got an idea - i will track if they ended on website of "successful payment". However, manual bank transfers won't be included.

I have additional questions

1 - how many % is best for lookalike audience? 1%? (Users range in size from 1 to 10% of the combined population in the selected location. 1% of similar users consist of people similar to your similar feed. The higher the percentage, the wider the range of users.)

2 -
is good to create lookalike audience to PPE campaign of people that visited my page? Or people that added something to cart? Because, minimum number is 100 and that is too big for my small shop. (only 8 conversions, 26 cart adds and about 300 visitors)

thank you man!

So you don't know a payment method off the radar that could be use in Facebook ads?

No

1. Depends entirely on the product and your budget. Generally speaking the more "niche" the appeal (ie. a fishing rod vs. a weight loss product) the lower the %. But I always test 3 ranges (3%, 5%,and 7%) on new offers to figure out what's best.

2. Yes. I would recommend doing a LAL of website visitors and ad engagements in this case

Hey man I have a quyestion it might sound stupid but I really thought I ask, Would you spend less than $10 a day on a campaign? or would you say you need a lot higher bugdet to make the ads useful? also what kind of budget would you recommend for an ecommernce site?

I will create for testing 5 ad sets and 3 ads per each ad set. Those 3 ads should be duplicated across those 5 ad sets or they should be different, so 15 different ads in total?

Thanks!

Do you have traffic on the site already? you can do a retargeting (abandoned cart campaign) and start that super low, at like $2/day.

Duplicated! Same ads in each ad set

I have a campaign that the conversion rate some days is at 3% and others at 8%. Is so much volatility normal with FB traffic? Or may it be due to problems with my server?

Yeah it's normal. What's your offer?

You can spend less than $10/day it just means it's going to take a bit longer for you to see results.

its a beauty cream

Yeah that kind of variation is normal. You can set up automated rules to stop running your ads on days you get low conversions.

What advice do you have for promoting music events ?
We have multiple venues and 18¬ DJ's on roster.

Any tips for getting really low cpc, 0.01 < , for TIER 1 traffic? Quality doesn’t matter. I’m not selling anything, the goal is to get volume at really cheap cpc. Thanks
