Is 301 Dead??

I bought Some Expired Domains from Godaddy Auctions to try 301 for my 3 money sites.

Expired domain - 1

Referring Domains - 2.1k [80% ********]

Expired Domain - 2

Referring Domains - 1.7k [72% ********]

Expired Domain - 3

Referring Domains - 900 [90% ********]

50-60% Anchors are naked URL and domain is not niche relevant

I did 301 to my 3 money sites. I redirected 1 expired domain to each money site. It's almost 3 weeks. No movement in any keyword

I redirected from my Domain Dashboard with Domain Forwarding Method

Overall I spended $2k on these 3 Expired domains.

So is 301 Dead??

Can't make a generalization based on a single experiment, but you can conclude that, in this case, based on the domains you chose and the keywords you are targeting, this method of 301 redirection did not have an impact after 3 weeks.

What are the anchor texts for the redirected domains? What are the metrics of your main site? In my experience, a sitewide 301 from multiple domains will help improve the stats of your homepage but it's not guaranteed to increase rankings for specific keywords, unless the expired domains have very relevant anchors.

You might want to try a different experiment, like building landing pages on each expired domain and sending contextual backlinks to your main site.

Have you reindexed all the links pointing at the expired domains?

Were all the links to expired domains to the homepages?

I make 301 redirect to my blogspot blog 2 weeks ago, but from one domain (i think it is more natural for google than many redirects from many domains) and my organic traffic increased from 1,2k/day to 2k/day so i think it's not dead method

For 301 redirects you should wait at least 3 months. You won't see any improvement within the first month for sure.

Wait 3-6 months.
If you redirect to way different websites with no common parts (different niche, etc), you will probably lose most of the domain rating

A few years ago you could see results within 3 weeks. Now it takes much longer. From my experience 301s are such a hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes no effect at all. Since you bought 3 nice domains you should at least see a bit of an effect. Just give it more time.

If you don't see results within the next few months I would make money sites/ PBNs from this domains.

Did Google detected the 301 already? site:expireddomain to see the title - is it your money website title or is still the old one? Sometimes google takes some time before indexing such redirects which naturally means the effect is delayed. Also do this domains was indexed before the 301?

Yes it is already detected by google and it was indexed before 301

I recently registered 5 new domains, built links to them and redirected these domains do various test sites that were already established (=ranking).
Tried direct 301s and indexing them first. After a few weeks, there were no results whatsoever. Take from that what you will. I do think 301s have had their days but that doesn't mean there isn't a way to make them work.
