Is 301 Dead??

301s are very hit and miss and should not be used on your main projects. Some retard outed that strategy a while ago on a big blog (without disclosing his URL) and Google instantly penalized his site.

This method still works? I will be surprised if Google has not close this exploit by now. Too many people are abusing this method.

There are lots of ways of getting links crawled. You need to find one that works.

If you redirect all pages to the home page, Google will not give you any credit. You'll just get soft 404 warning messages.

You need to be selective about which pages you redirect and where you redirect them to.

Buying multiple expired domains relating to another niche and redirecting all their pages to your home page doesn't work.

But that isn't to say that redirecting expired domains doesn't work. You just need a touch more finesse.

Generally, I would say that provided the domain you wish to 301 is in the same niche as the domain that you plan to redirect to this should not be a problem.
I would also advise that you should not redirect any more than 2 domains total, especially in such a short period of time.

The other thing I will mention about the "It's almost 3 weeks" is 3 weeks is no were near long enough. In 2019 SEO as a whole still works but results come in much slower than
what they used to. I would generally say that 301 redirects would be treated the same as a new link, therefore you should expect results to start appearing within 4 - 8 weeks.

Plus, your onsite SEO could be crap. In my opinion, most 301 redirects don't work because the money website is not optimized at all. Starting with On-site techniques.

On-Site SEO is not only the structure (HTML meta, h-tags, alt, etc) but also semantic (paths, canonicals, context internal/external links, etc).
I prefer 301 Redirects but not to the homepage. Also, related to the niche. It is not relevant to make a redirect from a movie website to a health-oriented website. BUT! You can see a result if you redirect a movie website to the entertainment one. It depends. And, don't forget the expired domain could be a crap (even being with good metrics).
PNB is not a cheap solution. To see good results you need to work more than with 301. Also, it could be built as non-quality PNB. Especially, if you haven't experience. In the other side, could be much safer and faster (indexing) than 301 (you can delete links/content because managing PNB is your care).

Well i use both PBN's and 301's sometimes. But generally PBN's are the best choice if you keep them private and want long lasting results for multiple sites . Currently im using LaunchCDN to host all my domains, this service hosts all your PBN's with CDN ip's so you dont have any footprint. For your domains its best to switch up registrars indeed.

301's are another option, but you need some time to see the effects, most likely you will see gradual results each month Generally speaking if you do it the right way you will start seeing results within the timeframe of 3-6 months, sometimes even longer!

How many pbns have you had to point to your money site to rank a medium competition keyword? What of costs, how much will one cost you to maintain per month? Lastly, guest post or pbn - which one would you recommend?

Currently i have a network that consists out of 300+ PBN domains. Medium competition keywords ranked with around 25-45 PBN's but that generally really depends on several factors man. For example, when i started building my network the quality of the domains was less than the domains i buy currently (since i made a lot of profit ). The maintenance costs are do-able, for example i use launchcdn for hosting and that costs me around 500+ dollar per month (But thats for 300+ hosting). You can get started there with around 20/25 dollar per month for 10-20 domains i think. Thats the monthly cost, but buying domains and registering + paying yearly fee's is a tad more expensive (but you have control over this since you choose which domains you buy.)

Let's say you want to start just like every other guy that begins building a PBN i think its possible to buy 20 domains for 300-500 dollar, get them hosted for around 35-50 dollars per month. I highly recommend you to do PERFECT kw and niche research first to find out what kind/ and how much domains you need to rank the keywords you are targetting if you want to make profit to scale up your PBN fast . Once you get profits and put that money back into scaling up your PBN monthly it will grow fast!

Question about guest posts or PBN : I mix them both, generally i start with relevant guest posts, HQ press releases, directory links, citations and social signals for the first 6 months. After that i throw in some PBN's (around 5-10 per month) and after that i love niche edits for the extra trust. But again bro, it all depends on so many factors that this is not a definite answer.

1) I use self-developed software to find expired domains.
2) MOZ metrics (DA) + Majestic (Spam Score, Ref Domains, Backlinks, Authority Backlinks...) + Archive.org + Keywords / Anchors/ Context of page

A not penalized domain is a must. A not relevant domain does not work (in most cases).
