Sup gang? building a nice healthy adult general tube of my own. Pulling in about 500-1k average users per day. Grown my reddit account to 5k karma and my gfycat to 3million views (if only it was a cent a view..) I've hit a brick wall as to where i go from now. Is a month in early days for more scaling or should I continue building backlinks? Ads are bringing in about 1 euro a day..my ultimate goal is to get this paying for itself within 3 months.

Would love to hear anyones suggestions/experiences they may have faced during this brick wall time.

keep promoting it, also try some affiliate offers not just selling ad space (as i assume thats what you do).

I currently have a mixture of crakrev ads and exoclick.

i would add some rev share. it takes more time, but you will have better profits in the long run

like those 20% cam rev shares?

I, too have a site that's getting between 500 and 1k uniques a day, I get some nice cash through hubtraffic as well as exo and Bitcoin ads but like you I have hit a wall in growing further. I'm on Twitter with a 5k follower account, but not getting a lot of traffic from there so far. The site is nice though, can let it run on autopilot and just need to figure out how to promote it properly.

Does hubtraffic actually pay? How much do they shave?

With that amount of traffic you should be focusing on gaining more traffic than monetizing. Work on on page seo, and just turn out content. Don't expect much for the first 6 months.

Yes, the rate is something like 2.60 to 2.70$ per 1k unique views. Right now I'm actually getting more from that than from the one exoclick popunder I show per visitor and 24 hours, it's not too bad. I played with the wp script clean player but that increased load times quite drastically and some viewers can't play videos so I took it off again and use hubtraffic for the time being.

Thanks for your reply. I've read some mixed reviews on hubtraffic before. The other poster mentioning waiting for more monetiziation meant OP I think.

Every upload I'm manually doing. Unique titles + descriptions/tags. Uploading to bigger tubes with watermarks and custom intros. Aiming for 3.5k visits per day by the end of next month!

I don't know where you got the CPM for pops for but that MAYBE for tier 1 only and is pretty high. Adult cpm for pops is much lower, probably 0.8 on average. That network specifically has a bad reputation about payment and not counting traffic, but I haven't used them.

That is hubtraffic cpm, I get that every day. It's also per unique and it counts only redirects to their site so you lose out on viewers so one might argue it's not the most ideal, but right now I get the biggest chunk of my money from there.
