Ask Me Anything About Pinterest (Pinterest AMA)

Congrats, the more you have the more posting options you will have and the more volume you can do. I would look for alternative posting automation if you plan on using tons of accounts otherwise Tailwind will become very very expensive. I have not used anything else nor do I know of a good alternative. If you plan on only using a handful of accounts then maybe Tailwind could work. Glad to see you have been reading Kevin's posts too. He clearly knows his stuff and there is another member here that knows her stuff too. I forget her name but would recognize the avatar. I always take note of their posts.

Thank you. Yes I have been checking out tribes but nothing else as of yet. Really I just use it for Pinning at the moment.

Thank you. You should start a journey thread so that people can follow your progress.
Did you recollect the other member's username ?

Hey @William702 I use tailwind too.. and i set pins for through the day unfortunately for some days now I've been having real bad results, my traffic is down from over 5k daily pageviews to my site to barely 3.5k...

What's your take on this? Do you notice anything similar? WhbWha your suggestion?
Thanks

Hi William. I'm new here just started with IG and now Pinterest. I binge read this entire thread. Thank you for sharing your expertise. One question tho. I made 70+ pins yesterday. They all promote one product. Is it okay if I just copy paste the description for all 70+pins? Or do I have to change it for each pin to not get flagged by Pinterest as spam?

Wow, 70 pins in a day, you're not kidding around  If you don't mind answering, are you doing this on a brand new account and have you started receiving visitors from all those pins yet?

Hi Alexa,

The account is 2 weeks old. The first few days I just repin and post 10 of my own pins. According to analytics, I have 1.2K views. I'm sure most of that is from my repins tho. My pins only get around 5-10 impressions. :)

It comes and goes. content is king on Pinterest. 3.5k visits coming from Pinterest per day is still pretty good no? I'm not tracking anything like that right now so i could not tell you if its up or down

You can do, I would at least try and add different hashtags if they are 70 different pins. They can lead to the same place but you want to target different keywords. I would not be pinning 70 pins a day with the same descriptions word for word.

Hi @William702 I got a bunch of 10 months old accounts and I need to invite them to the 150 or so Etsy group boards I have on my mains.
Do you think they're old enough to accept 100 invites in a day? Or should I do it over a week?
Btw, I had created a brand new account just to act as a board "repository" -to keep the mains presentable- and after accepting about 10 invites the account was suspended. I thought I might risk an action block, but not a suspension... Anyway the good news is that I asked for a review and they gave me back that new account...

The last time I did something like this was last year and I use to get action block at about 24 invite. I would advice that you do it over a few days and not at once unless you have another backup account with all the group boards.

whats the usual rate for getting views of Pinterest to your website

if you have 100k monthly view in Pinterest what rate of them you will get in your website?

Hello, I have encouraged a weird thing, when I click on all my pins going to my website I get the link that the site is maybe suspicious and ask the visitor to visit or leave. Basically is like a "spam" filter? How can you fix something like that, should I contact the support team and ask them why my site is suspicious?

Is it best to put a link directly to my Fiverr gigs or to my blog which leads to Fiverr gigs? I feel like directly to Fiverr gigs is better because less chance for drop off, but thought I'd ask.

Also, I know you've said before that you found Pinterest doesn't convert well for Fiverr. Could you give me a rough conversion rate just to know if it's still worth it for me? If I can't get at least a 5% conversion rate, it doesn't seem worth it to me.

If Pinterest isn't good for conversions, what social media platforms would you recommend for Fiverr. I find Twitter & Facebook are good, not sure if IG is good or not. I'm just starting up a blog now as everyone says that's the best source once you get up and running.

Thanks

Bro I did what you and other top pinterest guys have suggested and so far not seeing anything much different. I changed to business account. Scraped a bunch of good keywords from suggestions and also tags and use those for titles and tags in description of my pins. I started pinning more yesterday, set bot to pin every 10-20 minutes but today I see hardly any views on all pins. Does it take time for them to 'mature'?

How many views and click throughs should I expect after how long? I want to know if I am on the right track and just need to wait or whether I still have things missing which need doing.

Well I have an action block, I can't accept invites with the child accounts. So there has to be something wrong with these 1 year-old accounts I bought, or with my proxies (sslprivateproxy), I don't know.

Hello ! Do you know any tool to mass delete pins on Pinterest? I've reached the max limit on pinterest and i have to bulk delete a lot of pins :)

Well I doubt that. I think it is just Pinterest algorithm to block if an action is repeated x times. Wait it out. Try again in 24hours
