Ask me anything about Shopify Dropshipping (Store Development)

How does someone pitch a new niche, more specifically, pitch a product they distribute to find out if you have interest in selling it?

Hey, me and a friend of mine are in the process of making a brand. We will be creating these products in out country and sending them out worldwide, but concentrating on US for now. We are planning to make this into a luxury brand with real good material. We are going to be focusing on Instagram in the beginning since our products can be presented in many ways using photos. What tips can you give us?

What's the best way to sell E-commerce stores to business owners. I do design great stores but my issue is them picking up the store from me. Some ignore totally...Some do talk and later went AWOL..

Is there anything I could do to increase the rate at which they buy from me?

Awesome, thank you! How often do they pay and how is the overall experience? Is their support team good?

You can pick between 3 options as I recall. It really depends on your country. Here's the http://help.2checkout.com/articles/FAQ/What-payout-options-do-you-offer where you can read exactly what you need.

Hey,
Have you seen success in one product store? A luxury item?

Hi loukeyzee, thanks for the question!
I tried 1 product store only once and I didn't find success, but not because it's not possible or what so ever, it's just because I was not 100% in for that. The product was not that interesting for me so I lost the interest for whole thing really fast. I did work on some 1 product stores for my clients and they're doing great. It has pros and cons. For example, it's much easier to manage it opposite to 15+ products store and you don't waste that much money and time on preparing promotional material (images/videos/graphics). Bad thing is, you have to brand the shit out of it. If you're not really, really good in marketing, it will be hard for you to succeed. Again good thing is that if it goes well, you can just create a store based on that one product, add bunch of similar products and make more money. But from that stage on, it gets really difficult.

So if you're going for 1 product store, make sure you have amazing marketing strategy prepared.

Hi horologie1900, I didn't quite understand the question. Are you asking how to test your product to see if it's going to sell? Please, could you send me a message to my Inbox, we can discuss it there :)

Hi Dresden, thanks for your question! Could you please give me few more details, you can send it in messages and we can discuss it there. It would be great if you could tell me about the product.

Hi SirTop, thanks for the questions!

How do you sell those stores? Do you have an agency that develops ecom stores or you're just creating them and offering them on different forums/websites?
It would be great if you could create yourself a website, make it look professional and work as an agency that develops stores for different clients. Then, create few stores as examples and showcase them on your website.
Also, you can do some fb advertising, to show people that you exist. Create some brand awareness ads just to get it going. You can also create Instagram account and post something interesting there, maybe shopify related tips or something like that.

It would be great if you could tell me more about how you sell them here or in messages if you want to do it privately.

I've sent you a PM, thanks :)

what happens when you refund a customer but don’t have money in the bank and payout because it was a big order?

can you still refund the customer or do you ask the customer to wait?

Haven't been active lately, life was rough for a couple of months. I'd like to become more active and start this thread again.
Last payment I received from dropshipping was this Summer (July), after that I didn't even start any new ads.

I'm thinking about opening a new store, probably slightly different approach to the whole dropshipping thing. How are you guys doing?
Any of you having a successful dropshipping businesses?

Hi,

How to avoid the closing shopify account? I created a new store on Shopify, but it ended up to be terminated by Shopify without any explanation. What should I do to avoid it? My store even hasn’t launched yet

That's impressive developing 70 stores. Shopify is a solid platform. Have you had much luck reselling stores? Cheers

Thanks for asking!

You probably went against their guidelines with something. You shouldn't be doing anything illegal and you obviously did. They wouldn't close your account for no reason.
They have you on the blacklist. I saw a lot of people taking orders from customers and actually never fulfilling them, so try not to do that.

Just take it seriously!

Hi, by now that number is much higher, I'd say around 200 stores maybe even more. I also launched an official website where I sell premade stores but also offer custom store development and it's going pretty well.
