Nevertheless, more and more concerning the uses of AI technology are appearing in the wild. This list aims to track all of them. We hope that Awful AI can be a platform to spur discussion for the development of possible contestational technology (to fight back!).

I dont know if someone share this before but i was watching a Growthtribe video on youtube and they speak about that list. I dont know that much about that topic at first i thought that was only a list with descrition but seem that some show you how to build it.

I still believe in AI and in the fact that it is created for the benefit, although one should not deny the fact that AI mainly follows us.

In any revolutionary mechanism there will be bugs, but this does not mean that it is worth refusing this idea.

If you take it like a bug tracking repo then it makes sense for you. I on the other hand appreciate this. I have seen worse but people dont document every bad scene they get in

What journalists describe as "bad" when it comes to ML/AI is more interesting than the "good" stuff they like. It would be awesome to have something augmented like a contact lens or glasses giving you risk assessments of areas you are entering or give you a warning if someone you are near is a dangerous criminal such as a sex offender or violent offender.

No one has created a decent reverse image search engine yet, we are so far away from this type of talk.

It would require facial recognition and you could build a database using the mug shots of criminals that is publicly available.

Just what he said, theres no proper image recognitipn software lets alone AI that will lead us into a 'war against machines.'

I bet making an AI takes much longer and its much harder than average joe believes.

This is actually interesting information, but I think that the AI is actually designed for the benefit of mankind, and not vice versa. Although even this is a controversial issue, because too much can be followed.
