creating a travel blog without traveling

as the title suggests, can i grow seccusful travel blog even if i don't travel. i mean just reading other people's stuff and come up with my own. i know it will not be an original, but can i make some money from it.

haha sure buddy you dont need to travel to make a travel blog , just do it , Rewrite articles and post some good pictures , instagram is full of that , you'll be good .

I tried this and found it difficult so changed to running a personal brand and me and my girlfriend go travelling for 3/4 nights of every month and get the most above of photos we can get, which will then be posted through the month mixed up with other photos from other trips. We wear different clothes etc

yes i know it is really tough, i am going to try it for a 6 mounths or so . and see what will happen

Totally fine, and you don't really have to even write about your own experiences of travel either. You can simply compile/comment on other peoples, or just re-write other peoples experiences and use free/royalty free images for support

I think this would be hard to do. There are so many travel blogs and you need to be authentic or be lost in the crowd.

I sometimes read them but I only like the ones who are really doing it and giving me real insight and experience.

It's fine to write about somewhere you haven't been, but I wouldn't pretend you've visited a place if you haven't. Just share information -- or better yet, share a roundup of other people's experiences. "Top Ten Tips for Paris" and link to 10 travel blog posts by other people. If you've done a good job, they'll link back and share it.
