Hey guys, I am into this "making money online" stuff for quite some time now but if there is 1 thing I did not learn in this time, it is HOW TO MAKE A FCKIN DIME. Indeed I lost a lot of money and did only make back a small percentage.

The problem I want to discuss today is my social media channels. I have 1 Youtube channel (niche: rap music) 1.2m views a week, 1 Instagram (niche: gaming/adult) 400k reach a week, 1 Instagram (niche: fun/adult) 600k reach a week. And I am not even actively posting anything. (because I don't make any money)

The YT channel is blocked from Adsense because of copyright issues. Links to Amazon "buy the album here" do absolutely NOT work. Asking the subscribers to buy anything through my Amazon link or merch, does NOT work. Promotions do NOT work, because I am only getting clicks on old videos. Affiliate/CPA grip got some clicks but never earned any money.

For my Instagram: I am earning a few pennies with CPA but it's basically nothing worth mentioning.

I think it is worth mentioning that I am not actively losing money on these channels. I don't use any software/bots/services. This is hundreds of hours of painful work with basically nothing in return.

Just a little feedback on the "buy album on amazon":
Do you really think that people buy albums nowadays?
People like to listen to their favorite music on Spotify or Apple Music on the go without actually paying 15 or 20 bucks for ONE album.

If I was you I would create an artist page on those platforms and market it to the masses, because they pay you for each play.

Was it not 2017 that albums outsold cds for the first time in a lot of years? Vinyl is making a comeback, to the extent in the UK that some supermarkets are stocking LPs.

It might be that albums outold cds, yet you have to compare how many people buy albums compared to how many people stream your songs.
Drake sold his last album 723,000 times, where only 160,000 were actually sold album copies, the rest of the income came from streams.

Have a browse around here, I'm sure there's a few people that would love a post from an engaged audience, the problem is those niche's are very "niche" in terms of buyers for them as users are actively 'unengaged' from adverts. (I'm actually building a P2P marketplace that should help you monetise each of those streams. ~eta around 2 weeks, should see it pop up on the Marketplace)

I'll show my age here; Who is Drake?

But yeah, streaming music is huge, so Amazon Music Bounty would be the one to look at maybe?

Yeah Amazon Music is definitely an option.

Don't worry about Drake, he's just one of the best selling hip hop artists the last couple of years.

And Sony has restarted their vinyl pressing g plants. Music magpie makes £25 million a year from second hand CDs, and these youngsters say it's dead lol! Amazon certainly wouldn't bother if it was

Never said it was dead, but Vinyl's are not the first product they buy when they want to listen to some music.
For a certain type of customer that might be the case but certainly not for the masses.
I doubt most "youngsters" know what vinyls are.

Guys, GUYS, thank you for the answers but that's not even the topic! xD
I just noticed that nobody that is listening to music via Youtube buys/streams the same albums via Amazon. I sold about 1 album in 1 million views. That's useless.

I believe brand deals are very hard to pull off on my YT because of the massive copyright problems. For Instagram, nobody cares anyway...
The problem with sponsorships would be the same. I have put great effort into my YT videos (animations/logos/artworks) but in the end, I just used songs by famous artists and they claimed copyright.
On Insta I just repost stuff that I think might work.

They do not pay me. They pay the music artist. There is no revshare. At least not on YT. That's the problem.
If you could add to this, so I might understand it, I would highly appreciate it.

I can give you a discont in my website with your name and if someone buy something i will pay you 5$ per sale.

You can put something in a picture/history like: I HAVE AN AMAZING DISCOUNT IN XXXX.COM USE THE CODE:XXXX FOR GET A 15%OFF ONLY TODAY

Only if it's niche related. I don't want to fck my audience. Do you have push-ready stories for Instagram?

I thought you were the artist, I got it wrong then. My bad.

Aren't you getting loads of shoutout requests on instagram? With this amount of followers you could make some great money.
And why don't you start building up a couple of dropshipping stores? You could sell rap merchandise and promote it on your yt channel.
Then do the same thing for each instagram account and start promoting your products/posting discounts.
Otherwise trying to implement better CPA strategies could be something great.

A hand full of people requested a free shoutout or s4s but that's some time ago. Most just want to have sex with me. That's not even a joke. (They think I'm female because there is a female in the videos)

About the merchandise - yes I also thought this. I had a Shopify store for the YT channel but I could not even pay the $30/m. It looked great and legit. There were some cool shirts (with real-life photos!)
But obviously, I sold only like 1 shirt a month and closed it. Now I have like 20x the traffic maybe it's worth a shot.

Ahaha yeah, same on my bikini page, lots of this kind of people asking for sex/nudes.
But it is weird that you don't receive requests for paid shoutouts, maybe try to create a gig on fiverr or something like that :D

Yes maybe you could try again, with a great strategy/website + some other sources of traffic. I think it could work out well!

Just set up a new landing page with WIX for my CPA offer on the gaming/adult acc and it's now doing like $4/day - hurray, pls kill me. Better than nothing.

Go to Plugco.in

First thing I see - a fake review from a non-existing Instagram page.
The second thing I see - I get paid in points, not in cash.
The third thing I see - only for apple. I have android.
