no offense but IMHO this is a waste of $$$.

$50 for 50K list? you'd be better off just buying your own mailer or using smtp on a cheap vps. mine will allow me to send un-limited.

DUDE!! Sounds good I will take a review!! But who collects all the time stamps? Hmm...would take days to compile. Is there a way around this?

Depends on the deliverability. You can spray emails from a VPS, but hitting inbox isn't the easiest with that.

Naturally, it's not going to be AWeber-quality deliverability, but I'd be curious to see what it is before writing it off.

GL with that bro. If you think any VPS host is going to let you unload spam from a $10 a month VPS your service will be cancelled before you can say spamcakes. The few that do allow it are probably sporting blacklisted IP blocks.

If you can't AT LEAST break even on a 50K list @ $50....emailing is not for you.

Timestamps are just the date and time that a user registers to be on your list, which you would collect on the website you use to get your opt-in emails. Obviously if you are scraping or spamming suppression lists you will not have an IP and timestamp, and hence I cannot help you.

bitchopt dot com

Seems to be a list appending service for blackhatters. If you want to use a service like that, it is fine by me. As long as we have an IP and timestamp for the user to show when dealing with complaints its cool.

If a VPS host does in fact allow you to send bulk email, the AUP is going to require that you are a compliant mailer which has the same requirements as my service. You may be able to pull off a blast or two using a scraped list but sending out more than 15-25K from a random VPS IP will have you greylisted very quickly. You're not going to do 400K per day from a VPS.

ESPs like Aweber are going to have a higher delivery rate, but at a higher cost and with a lot more restrictions as to what you can mail. I actually recommend using them sparingly to mail the big 3 (yahoo, gmail & hotmail) but you're not going to get far importing a scraped list.

Yeah how the hell do we collect time stamp information? I thought that most of the time we just have a text file of e-mail addresses we can use?

See my reply to the other guy above. You can use a list appending service if you want, but what you are all failing to realize is that people who do not want to get promo emails aren't going to be very responsive to it. There are a lot of places you can go to get valid opti-in email lists if you're not able to generate them yourself. A solid opt-in list of 250K will be as if not better than a scraped list of 1 million.

Thanks for the response Exxtra, in that case can you suggest anywhere online i can get good opt in lists to rent/buy please dude?

Most CPA networks maintain inhouse opt-in email lists which they will revshare with you. I'd start there...otherwise search on bing or google. I do not use any of those services so I cannot tell you which ones are good and which are reselling trash lists.

Exx, I think I sent you a PM. I have collected all IPs and timestamps. List of about 200K. I'd like to drop to the whole list five days a week ... maybe fewer to start out ... season the list a bit.

What's the interface like? Web or desktop based? How long would the mailing take? Realistically, what kind of deliverability would someone be looking at, provided the creative wasn't one giant spam trigger?

If I did shoot you a PM, hit me back.

Just completed some drops in the 100K range. Still have free 10K review copies available for active BHW members. PM me to get started!

I'm all set up for the 10K drop. Exxtra should have gotten everything he needs. I requested that it go out at 8 AM EST on Friday. Don't know if that's doable or not, but it would be ideal.

After that, I'll give it 48 hours. We'll see how conversions look after that, and I'll review on this thread.

Went out at 8 AM EST this morning, per Exxtra.

I may give a brief update during the day, but nothing extensive. Full review will probably be on Saturday or Sunday.

Just a note - the 3 review slots have already been given out. There should be 2 reviews coming in within the next few days, and one more after the drop is completed. Thanks.

My Review:
This is a good honest service. Provided the stats that matched my offer exactly!
My email ad was pretty basic and not too exciting and they still got me some clicks
which resulted in a couple sales so far!:D

Will definately use them again!! Highly Recommended!!

how many ips are these sent from??, and how are you inboxing the big 3 (y!,msn! aol! )

How did the campaign do in the end?

What was the offer if you don't mind me asking, and what type of list did you have?

I'm asking because I'd like to do a campaign for a couple products I have.

If you want to mail the major providers like AOL, MSN and Yahoo you are better off using a service like Mailchimp, Aweber or Streamsend. This is more of a GI mailing service.

Can I get a review too?

All reviews have been given out. Still waiting on two, the users have not posted yet.

Review:

Mailout went out. Didn't make any sales, but the mail definitely went out (which was verified by the 16 seed accounts I checked).

Needless to say, everything I saw hit the bulk folder, but you've got to expect that with $1 CPM. Quite honestly, I might use it again, but I would only use this if I had fresh, just-launched offers. The one I promoted, while abundantly proven, is a couple months old.
