Share your most underrated SEO tip or tactic!

1) not exhausting free resources before moving on to PBN or Guest Post links. Community sites and other high authority sites not only web 2s that allow contextual links.

2) Buy a strong domain in your niche. Build it out like a real website. Approach competitors and give them a link from this domain in exchange for a link to your money site.

Dead Joe beat me to my tip.

Oh well, another is to stick to the basics.

No magic link will rank your website number one. There is a reason people dont use Guest Books as tier one links or suggest them.

After you build the basics, then you can move onto special links.

Other tip is now more than ever velocity matters. You cant blast a package and expect to maintain rankings.

Love your guides, learned a ton from your posts. Hell, your aggressive spending in the Marketplace followed by detailed reviews helped distinguish shit services from the good ones. So thank you for that!

If time permits, I would love to see a keyword research and niche selection guide. This process is unique for everyone. From some PMs i had sent you couple years ago, you gave away some pointers on amazon keywords. How you dont necessarily select best xxxx or xxxxx review kws but instead go for generic/brand terms if im not mistaken. It would be nice to see how you navigate through this process!

Thank you for the kind words.

I never thought about a kw research guide as that is my weakness. I am good at analyzing serps and kws, but not discovery. I usually outsource this or do competition analysis to fond keywords. But I guess it could be helpful.

Niche selection is easier. I pick topics I know about or want to know more about.

Hmmm... i guess now I have a couple guide ideas. Thank you! If you have any questions, shoot me a PM.

I still consider you a friend Joe and can talk.

Back on topic, another unshared tip is letting a project age.

All my failed sites that I did not test to death are renewed and no work is done for at least six months.

I eventually go back to these sites with fresh eyes.

I always turn these sites inro pofitable ventires. I either find my seo error or set them up to sell guest posts.

The lesson is you never tuely fail in seo until you drop the website. I have. Few failures but in general, my non ranking sites are just abandoned until i can revisit them.

underrated tip: listen to other SEO

so you know what people think, what people do, what works, what issues arose, what changes occurred, what people disagree about, recent success stories, where people fail;

as SEO changes you must stay in tune with the present; and you must hear what others say as you cannot work in a vacuum.

github is nofollow now . i think after it is revealed on several forums that github can be used for link building , they were experiencing large number of spam content in public repositories . i have myself sold hundreds of ******** backlinks from github but not now .

Maybe not for linkbuilding, but if you can rank Github pages on #1 - #3 you can send traffic to your money site trough the Git pages :D

That was a good one!

Reddit can be used to rank YT videos in G Also works well for local & low competition longtails!

Thank you for the kind words.

This is some great advice!

When you say Ping the edited version, do you mean Ping with CMD?

When it comes to monthly search volume, there isn't 1 accurate keyword tool!

All tools are giving guesses, so don't let them discourage you from ranking keywords THEY say have "0 monthly searches"
