this is turning out to be a good thread.....already got nice tips...i try cold emails, send bulk emails to site owners , related one, i get 1 link for every 500-600 emails sent. I send about 5000 to 7000 emails which gets me decent links with very little work.

I had a script made couple years back that pulls fresh domain registrations / whois info and chucked em in a DB.. could search by keyword (within domain) and by geo (whois data). Cost me under 50 bucks and paid for itself 100x over.

I think the most underrated SEO tactic is onpage tweaking, sometime just small tweak can make a 1-2 pages different. Majority of SEO in this forum focus on only link building, but remember, your onpage takes 50% off your overall SEO campaign.
