Share your most underrated SEO tip or tactic!

Refresh your content! When I have a link stuck on page 2, I change the content a bit, add or rephrase a paragraph or two, and usually I see a nice little boost. You may lose some of the boost over time, but it's really a rinse and repeat tactic that rarely fails me.

this is turning out to be a good thread.....already got nice tips...i try cold emails, send bulk emails to site owners , related one, i get 1 link for every 500-600 emails sent. I send about 5000 to 7000 emails which gets me decent links with very little work.

Nice, people underestimate the power of cold emails with a solid pitch. I had a script made couple years back that pulls fresh domain registrations / whois info and chucked em in a DB.. could search by keyword (within domain) and by geo (whois data). Cost me under 50 bucks and paid for itself 100x over.

You still have the script? Can you please share the script or the emails format you use?

Real life networking is underrated.... go out and meet other bloggers/pros in your area and do promos with each other or co operations!!!
I'm living in another country, than my target audience.. it's a bit hard to meet them in a real-life, even if i wanted to

You may be able to link up with others who have skillsets which compliment yours or who may be running a business targeting similar audiences who may be able to share some insight. Networking in person will always be effective, just need to step outside of your comfort zone and get involved!

can you give more detail example?

what email you send?
for who?

I think the most underrated SEO tactic is onpage tweaking, sometime just small tweak can make a 1-2 pages different. Majority of SEO in this forum focus on only link building, but remember, your onpage takes 50% off your overall SEO campaign.

and whats the most underrated onpage seo technique?^^

As i said, onpage tweaking. Not just write an article once and leave it there.

In your experience, how long does it take for a tweak to be reflected in ranking? At what point do you decide that a tweak has or hasn't worked and it's time for another tweak? Thanks.
