I once heard a guru say, "There is no such thing as bad traffic, there's only bad marketers". Which I found out to believe false and true. Some traffic sources can be plain garbage for some while others may see it as a goldmine. You need to focus on have a high converting funnel and offer. Then the traffic source comes last. Facebook is a great place to start but I'm not too experienced with pinterest traffic. But from the demographics of pinterest, the traffic mainly consist of Women between the ages of 24-48 and an average yearly salary of $60,000. So I'm sure Health & Fitness offers will convert best on that particular traffic source. As far as Facebook, You can literally make a ton of money in any niche depends on how you market and what angels you choose to use as a way to convert visitors into paying customers. I hope this helps.
Thank you, yes, i agree with the 'bad workman blaming his tools' philosophy ...
I've found that description of pinterest's traffic to be accurate so far also
Don't think of the traffic source, think of what kind of people use that traffic source. For example, pinterest is mostly women so this works better for weight loss and ecommerce stuff.
Ok, that's cool, thinking in layers. So what I do is try to figure who might be the customer, subscriber/converter and taylor the targeting to them, for that specific thing. their interests, hobbies, lifestyle etc etc..
so if my offer is a ebook on grooming cats i would link my targeting to funny cat memes, cute cat pics ets etc.
my block in this sense is figuring the least time consuming way of collecting the most traffic, so yes, i agree, it's important much to think like this
It really depends on your country. For instance, thailand for example dont believe in SEO and website. They are strong in social marketing like instagram and facebook.
In the states could be probably twitter/snapchat/fb/ig
Also you need to know who your audience are and which platform do they actually use.
Thank you, yes, I only target US and SOME european markets, mainly because most of my products are either only available to those countries or the language barrier past english is too time consuming to deal with, my only language is english so ...
I market on fb, instagram, twitter & pinterest at this time.
for me SEO traffic has the best results
Yes, for me too, i believe the consistent majority of visits to my sites is because seo is King in matching the people that want something with the thing they want. Thats rule #1 in marketing i think.. there has to be a willing buyer to make a seller exist in the 1st place lol
Big thanks to you all
