My IM LogBook to success

About me (skippable):

Student in software engineering/Computer science in an engineering school. Main interest is cybersecurity but i recently shifted my focus on IM for a while. The most important thing for me is to learn new things so in IM i have soo much to learn every single day by reading there that for now my focus is here and i think that’ll be for a while.



My goals for the following months :

- set up a website to sell my softwares
- upgrade to Jr.VIP
- scale up my current CPA website (more details below)
- grab missions from my school junior company



SOFTWARES WEBSITE :

//STORY PART, SKIP THIS TO KNOW ABOUT ACTUAL PROJECT

I started developing bots in 2015 to get in-game currency in a video game. I sold it for five bucks and gained 300$/month for a while, and then i stopped because the software maintenance was becoming harder and harder (new anti-bot from the game) and it was more and more boring for me, and wanted to do something else so i let it slowly die. Big mistake, now if i could get back in time i would maintain it or sold it on flippa... anyway.

The last months i spent my free time developing bots for my various IM tests projects, and as the method i use are known, i can afford to sell them while still using them personally. That would be a little income to add (i will sell them cheap, or free for "not so big" ones) and that would be another experience doing e-commerce, at a bigger scale i hope. What have i to do is refactor some code to convert some of them from private to public (some parts needs to be cleaner when it’s not only me that uses them) and set up the website.

CPA WEBSITE :

I started a CPA website recently, just set up a new domain + wp blog + one article + one youtube video, here’s my actual stats so far, so already 400+% ROI (), which is great

So the plan for this is to add one more article + one more youtube videos quite soon


SCHOOL JUNIOR COMPANY :

I recently joined my engineering school junior company as a consultant, so if there’s an interesting SEO/web design/software dev mission grabbed by the commercial team, i will jump on it. The pay is decent (20+$/hour) and will have more formal experience (doing contract, meeting with the client) so good experience to take !

Update 29/01/2018 :

So quick update there !

SOFTWARES WEBSITE :

Still working on it, it will be soon finished so i'm happy
However i didn't progress much on tools dev as i spent my time on the website...

CPA :

Still getting a few leads a day, but revenue dropped a little because the countries that converted these last days got way lower payout. Same target language so i guess it depends.

Still happy with it as i literally don't touch anything yet My AM told me new offers with higher from my geo should be launched in february, so might work on it at this moment.

SCHOOL JUNIOR COMPANY :

It was exams week, so commercials didn't work much, no clients landed from their part so no news

UPDATE 04/02/2018 :

SOFTWARES WEBSITES :

Still working on the tools, got some more ideas but that's some more work

CPA WEBSITE :

There is finally a new good offer for my geo, so my income increased a lot ! Basically i made in 3 days what i made in January

As you can see i'm almost at 70$ a day, and that's with only one video
So with this great news in mind i made a new video, still waiting for the HR views on it and it will get started, hopefully with the same results as the first one !

So my advice to newbies that read me : Find a network that has the right offer for your traffic, your income depends a lot on it, don't focus too much on getting more and more traffic (i got only 2x clicks...)

SCHOOL JUNIOR COMPANY:

A commercial published an offer for a client that wants a vitrine blog for his business. Seems to be in my skills (with the help of BHW that will be so easy ) so i asked for more details. For now we're 3 possible consultants, we will have a meeting soon to have more details but it seems promising.

Got the money with the last month, got the 1xx messages, just waitin' the 60 days so will not update this goal anymore, i consider it already achieved

UPDATE 16/03/2018 :

Been more than a month without update Seems like yesterday It's insane how time flies when you're working! So I have some news for you, they're all good

SOFTWARES WEBSITES :

It's kinda finished, and released. I focused on 3 tools, for now, there are some waiting behind but I do not allocate time for them right now, will see how it goes with those ones first.

I also wrote a blog post explaining my CPA strategy on it, and I want to write more blog posts like this. But It's long as hell to do (for me... perhaps because I'm not used to write) so yeah. I'll try to schedule it and stick to that, but didn't did it for now.

CPA WEBSITE :

I released some more videos using the strategy described above, and I must say I got quite impressive results ! I managed to get 2000+$ in February, and it's doing the same this month

It's so great for a side project !! But I don't feel like scaling it. I do not quite like the ethics behind it and I would like to use that as quick money to invest in more "serious"/longterm projects.


SCHOOL JUNIOR COMPANY:

I got the contract! Now my manager must negotiate the price. I got a meeting with the client, and I'm pleased to learn that it's a leader in an international high-tech niche industry so definitely a good experience !

MY SEO COMPANY:

I also created my own startup with a friend of mine in business school. I will manage the technical aspect and he will handle the commercial/accounting part. We're doing the papers and we're already negotiating with our first client interested in a 3 months contracts. That should be my main focus in the following months.

UPDATE 20/04/2018 :

Seriously, each time I go on this thread I'm telling me "wow that's been a while actually, I should update that more often" .... and I never update it. But I don't forget it, at least So here are the monthly news

SOFTWARES WEBSITES :

Kinda on hold. I fixed some bugs on some software and I've thought about another interesting software idea, but no time planned on this project for now. I should dedicate myself to it in July or so, once my final exams are done.

CPA WEBSITE :

Well... life goes on !

I made a deal with a friend of mine to reduce the time spent on it. I do the landing page + ranking, he records the video and he got 30% of the income generated by that video. So far he made me 3 videos, but one got deleted, and the last one doesn't seem to convert well. The second, however, works great so that's cool.

I also added a second content locker (OGads) to squeeze a little more money from it, adding like +500-1000$/month, which is appreciable!

I also started to do some SEO on the blog, to get some organic reach on google. Here are my current rankings :

I don't have much time to rank this particular website, so I got myself a package from @Peter Ngo to handle part of it. Those are low-med competition keyword, so I'm sure he will pull something great enough to push things up.

SCHOOL JUNIOR COMPANY:

AH. Well. Contact isn't closed yet. So I got kinda tired and took my phone, and made a proposal for 30% with my company (so basically : squeezing out my school company). So far the client seems interested but the deal isn't closed yet.

MY SEO COMPANY:

We got our first client, a little e-commerce website using Magento. We closed a contract at 300 euros/month for 3 months as a trial. So far they're happy and I really hope to get some good results with them to get a good testimonial to show off.

Meanwhile, my engineering grades are declining so I might work a little more on school projects, as my final exams are close

UPDATE 17/05/2018 :

Ok so let's say I will update this thread once a month okay ? Cuz' if I say otherwise I will fail I think my god I always forgot this
So let's begin this month review

CPA WEBSITE :

Here are my stats for May. End April looks kinda similar

I won't complain about this earnings (oh wow I've achieved the 100$ a day typical thread ! ) BUT the offers on this network got shit, they removed one by one the good ones that I used. I KNEW I could do more. As no replacements for them were planned for now, I decided to switch to 100% ogads for now.
And my god that was a good decision !

So now I'm more at 400-500$/day now, which is great. I must say I didn't expect this from this website at all.

It was not planned but the more this increase the more I say to myself "Hmm ok, what if I work on X for a while to see what happens" and usually my earnings increase because there's room for improvement, I didn't work much on this so it's far from perfect

My rankings skyrocketed once I started to do some SEO on it :

So I'll build some more backlinks in the following weeks, and test to post some support articles, to push those all in page 1 at least.


OTHER PROJECTS :

Which projects ?
Just joking. Got no time to work on other projects, just did some basic stuff but nothing fancy to tell you


Oh and I must look how to make this thing legal and how I declare my money, as I didn't register anything for this CPA shit, didn't expect to get consistent earnings but now it seems necessary aha So I will need to dedicate some time on this as well

you have one simple website with one article. Then you create some videos, rank them and they lead to that website (or directly to the content locker on OGads)?
Within that article, you have a link to an offer? How exactly are you doing that now when you are using OGads only?

Not exactly. I have a blog, with articles. In that articles, I have a link to landing pages. Landing page leads to the locker. And yeah I've also Youtube videos with link to articles and landing pages. So the user can go directly to landing page->convert or go to article->landing page->convert. But that's just a way of getting traffic that fits my niche, you can change to whatever traffic source you want.

How do you find a niche that you think will do well with this method? Do you look at CPA offers first and build your landing page? Or do you know what kind of traffic to drive, then try to find a CPA offer to trial?

Nice stats man, never went into CPA exclusively and always thought it's just game hacks.
Are you using content lockers on landing page or offers?
Why not try other big CPA sites like maxbounty or peerfly?
