Recent FL (followliker) issues

Is anyone else seeing a ton of new errors/issues with FL recently?

I've been keeping an eye on BHW over the past week but I'm not seeing any real threads on straighforward issues... more alternatives to other services getting shut down.

I've got a few accounts getting errors. (before last week, everything was smooth as butter)

Anyone else seeing problems on their side?

What type of errors?

If it's liking or following too fast, just slow it down. It happens to all of us. IG algorithm sees something it didn't like - even though we were fine for 1 month, 6 months or 1 year.

I've ran across quite a few. (I'm running 12 accounts - all having their own unique proxy)

For example...

Account 1 - Account will not unfollow users (tried re-creating several times, new proxy, etc)
Account 2 - Password was reset twice by IG, 400 errors & rate-limiting errors
Account 3 - More 400 errors.
Account 4 - Unable to follow a user
Account 5 - Password reset

Before last week, I didn't run into an error ever. Maybe a few 'security code gates' upon adding new accounts every now and then but that's it.

Of course, I'm super paranoid about all of this since the recent shut downs. So I figured I would ask the crew.

The main annoyance is 'There are no more users to unfollow or the unfollow day has not been reached.'...

I paused the accounts for a few days and resumed today. Per your suggestion - significantly reduced the settings.

For specific reference to some of the errors across the board...

"Last response code: 400 -> Media not found or unavailable was received from instagram"
"Unable to like photo ID:"
"Last response code: 400 -> Sorry, you cannot like this media was received from instagram"
"Last response code: 404 -> not found was received from instagram"
"Unable to follow user:"
"Several errors received from Instagram. Temporarily stopping current task."

(took out usernames and id's obviously)

Are you getting temps bans for preforming too many actions?

I have FL and haven't ever encountered those. So maybe you're getting them for following to many people or liking too many photos in a short span of time?

Thank you for the check-ins, everyone. Helps alleviate some paranoia.

Looked at all my activity logs today (after significantly reducing my settings for 24hrs) and not seeing any more errors.

I hope I can slowly scale the accounts later again.

Still not sure what may have triggered it other than poor luck since I've been running them semi-aggressively (+~100 followers/day) throughout the past year without any errors.

Just goes to show... you never know when your accounts will be hit.

UPDATE: Accounts are acting with very few hiccups. Only a few 404's/day. (much better)

I'm going to keep the settings low for a month and update later.

Mine was hit today. Upped my settings and within an hour my bot was running into the "Several errors received from Instagram. Temporarily stopping current task." I'm running on a GreenCloud VPS. Going to stop activity for at least 24 hrs and see wha happens.

Hey Shadow,

Can you please shed some tips on this? I've been getting the 400 errors for liking on ALL of my accounts. Now they just follow and unfollowing.

Did you scale down all of your options (following, unfollowing, liking, etc.) or did u simply scale down the feature that was causing the error?

Any help is much appreciated!

I just got all the errors today (after 5 days of diminished followers.) Follow Liker support is AWFUL, btw.

Should I just stop the the software for 48 hours or so? Is that what helped you?

Sorry - @Jay Dilly - I didn't see you reply. Hopefully this helps you and @writergirl5500 out.

Yea - pause all the accounts for a few days.

After a few days, pop the settings down to VERY low. (~100 actions/per)

~100-200 follows
~100-200 unfollows

And resume.

Run with this for a week or two and gradually increase actions by 100.

I'm running all accounts at 350-400 per action.

The liking function seems to really trigger issues for me so I stopped using that all together.

Thank you!! I'll try it. I did stop it. Interestingly, I started getting the errors after FL told me to change my queries to users who likes vs users who followed. I deleted all of those queries and will start again on Saturday without doing any liking and reducing it to 100-200.

I would say the longer you let the accounts rest, the better.

4-5 days would be a good amount of time.

Thank you! I'll give it rest til Monday, then... I really appreciate this help and hope it works.

FYI, when I first started doing this (around July) I initially hired someone from Fivrr and ran into the same problem after about 1 month. I figured it was because he was running multiple accounts. I cancelled the service, found out about FL from this board and ended up not running anything for about a week or so before I started with FL. That did the trick then.

I hope it works now.

How many accounts are you running?

It's also important that you assign private proxies to your accounts. (if you're not)
