A little update: I laid off FL for about 5 days. Just started again yesterday. I'm no longer getting errors, which is a good thing. But still not getting many followers. I hoping/suspecting it might take a few days to get back up to speed. FL support told me to redo my settings so everything's spaced apart more (now at 2-4 minutes vs 1-2 in general), no liking photos at all and follow/unfollow is around 100-200 which each set for a delay at around 120-240 seconds. Because the program started unfollowing, I suspect I received unfollows (I'm getting around 5-8 follows a day with those numbers so it's coming out my overall numbers remaining static.

Do you think it's a wash for me with FL or should I keep at this and slowly raise the numbers and add liking photos over the next week or two?

I would turn off the liking function all together. It really hasn't added much for my accounts and only causes errors for me.

My idea: If someone see's I follow them, clicks to my profile and see's that I'm following over ~2000+ people... the likeliness they're going to follow back will be significantly lower.

As opposed to if they go to my profile and see I'm only following ~850 people.

It looks more natural and less spammy (they'll feel more special ).

Good idea. I keep my follows at around 1050. With (currently) around 5755 following me. I like to keep the unfollow/follow ratio the same only because I thinking following/unfollowing will cause someone to unfollow me if I unfollow them. What I did initially (and might do again) is look at the Folllowers app--see who blocked me and unfollow them from there if I'm still following them. I do like the 850-ish number for how many I'm following, though.

SO I heard back from FL today and their solution (again) was to change the query to people who liked vs people who followed. I added a couple of extra queries with that.

Yesterday, I got 12 new followers total, which actually isn't that bad (normally I get around 25-30 new ones per day but I follow twice as many). Today, so far, not so much. I'm hoping that in a few days it all corrects itself.
