Getting the Verified Badge on Youtube

Hey everyone!

Youtube pretty much says that you need 100k followers in order to get verified.

I'm still on 30k subs and that little (v/) icon would really help on my advertising through comment positioning (organic traffic babyy).

I was just wondering if there are any alternate ways of getting your Youtube channel verified (and therefore earning that sweet checkmark badge).

1) I read somewhere that you could just ask your MCN and they would be able to hook you up eventually, but Curse Union for Gamers (my network) made a tutorial on verifying channels and it's basically focused on asking Youtube for it

Do you guys know of any other Network that would be more helpful in this scenario?

2) A guy with 5k subs told me he got it by simply linking his channel to his website. Any confirmation on that?

3) Someone here on BHW should create a MCN only focused on verifying channels and selling this service. Just an idea lol

So a friend of mine got a gaming-related channel which was verified by the MCN at only about 50k, so it's definitely possible (~8 months ago). However the MCN was invite only (they approached you if they wanted you in their network).
Tbh, it's kinda easy to get into Curse, guess you need a MCN that focusses on quality channels and is therefore able to offer better features/support if you want that little icon.
