Taking pictures from Google search and putting them on your site is fine if they are labeled free for use or share.

Well, in myexperience it is not a problem to re-post an article from another blog here and then.

And if you do that, make sure you do not change a word, and of course mention the original source.

I have seen many high quality blogs doing this often, and I am pretty sure the blog's authority is not affected, either positively or negatively.

The problem is if your blog is filled only with copy/paste articles and no original content. Such a blog will never rank, no matter how many links you build to it.

Building links to another site from such a blog will not help at all.

Changing a few words is not helping either, since google is able to trace these small changes.

As other members wrote, if you want to use trash content just to fill PBN web 2s or blogs you should use an article spinner.

And finaly regarding google images, I always use photoshop to make small changes to the images before posting.

On your first question, yes, it is o.k. It would be better if you mixed them with original content posts, but i have seen websites doing fairly well using only curated content.

On your second question, the answer depends on your ambition for your money site.

If you want to build a strong money site that will last in time and forgive some seo mistakes, then you need original, high quality content.

If you want quick rankings that will be lost after some time, then do whatever you can think of.

I'll disagree on that being a hard fast rule.
I have blogs built 100% from PLR articles that can be found everywhere.
I have RSS feed autoblogs, they actually rank above some of their sources for articles.
There is no duplicate content penalty for 2 websites having identical articles, it can be done all day, every day, and if done RIGHT will rank nicely. What is usually called a penalty, is actually Google just serving the higher authority domain first, as many newbies tend to do these things, they assume they were penalized, and the cycle continues.

It really comes down to, how risk tolerant are you, because you have potential DMCA complaints, it will take forever to see ranking, so what is your end game?

If you want to use Adsense, then don't plagiarise & rewrite.
You want to use for Web 2.0, it may work a bit.
