Clickbank + PPC ?

Your posts are very inspiring karmandy93 and I'm soaking in loads of good information from you. I'm a total newbee with bing ads and I haven't run my first campaign yet. I tried adwords a long time ago with a total fail. Lost more than I paid. So this time I want to really really learn as much as possible before starting. I think I'm almost ready. With landing page I would think A/B split testing is very valuable. I think I would try to pick/borrow landing page content from various pages and generate a landing page and try to optimize it.
There is one thing I didn't really understand or it contradicts each other.

1. "You don't necessarily need 15% CTR or higher to get cheaper clicks, it all depends on the niche really."
2. "you just have to keep testing and stick to one good product, till ROI starts to look good"

What I don't understand is how do I know a good niche if I only stick to one product?
For example you need to test your ads and create several of them to increase conversion rate(not ctr as it can be very different) Same with products you need to test several of them.
I'm going to test with direct linking first to find a good niche / product and then focus on a landing page. That makes most sense to me.
What do you think?

Here's what i can tell you after 3+ years of experince with ppc+cickbank...
1. If you're doing direct linking, do it with those vendor's that have $1 trial. And make sure you state the price in your text ad, or else..you'll get traffic from people who are looking for free stuff.(only for direct linking).

2. How do you find the right niche?
First, side line 2-5 vendor's that have good convincing websites(with $1 trail-for direct linking). And then go to the Bing ads Keywords tool, and SEARCH for the keywords..for that niche..and you'll get "Suggested Bid" and then chose the cheapest niche (with lowest suggested bid).
That's how you find your perfect niche...for starters.

The $1 should make it convert even more I think.
One thing I wonder. Wouldn't the CTR decrease and cost me more?

Cost has nothing to do with CTR.

Secondly, I get only 70-80 clicks per day..and get around 25% conversion rate. So, it's upto you. if you want 1000 clicks and 0 buyers OR 50 clicks/people who are actually WILLING to spend money. you don't have to attract everyone.(most people want things for free)...so..stating the price in text ad FILTERS the ones that are wiling to pay money and those who aren't.

Thirdly, Since your new to it..you cud start with direct linking but.. Direct linking won't earn you good income...create landing page+ email marketing...(learn it from youtube.)

I tried direct linking for regular products (not $1 trials) and I can say it's a 100% waste of time. You get like 100+ hops and not even a single person goes to the order page, let alone buys something. Although, the results could be different for $1 trials, but I wouldn't know, because I haven't done it.

With regards to putting the price in the ads, would you do it if you were promoting regular products with a review landing page? (not email marketing)

Glad you're still around, wanted to thank you for this thread and all your contributions to it.

I managed to figure out how to get cheapish clicks for decent keywords, while also getting a strong CTR and a good volume, appearing in top 3.

Last piece of the puzzle I'm trying to solve is the landing page.....Again, thanks to you I realized that it was one of my main problems...well, it still is.

Trying to find a good balance between getting 60% lander CTR and conversions of 1:20-30 to be able to make a profit, otherwise the numbers don't add up.

Also, I will personally reveal to you here the niches that have been profitable for me on bing (I'm telling you this because I don't longer focus on affiliate marketing anymore and I would like others to profit as well).

Anyone of the below niche/product. . . I can tell you made me good profits (if done correctly). Pick one and focus on it

Although some people might not like what I'm doing, this information would've helped me alot while starting out with bing (at least knowing which niche converts helps).

High blood sugar (very low traffic but conversion rate is high and converts all year)

Diabetes (very competitive, but very profitable and converts all year round)

Belly fat (highly profitable from march - october. . . after that sales dwindle because of the season)

Nail/foot fungus (highly profitable mostly during the summer time. . . after that sales dwindle)

Sciatica (profitable all year. . . but most of my sales where during the summer time)

Back pain (same as sciatica above)

Yes you can make money with clickbank and ppc. The best strategy is to have a lead capture page. Once you build a relationship with your leads by using email marketing promote clickbank offers.
