Hello BHW members ,

So , I have started a YouTube channel and the videos are about short movie clips. And i have got about 15k views in a week and its under review and i have no copyright strikes on my channel. So will be my monetization approved ? i already have a working adsense account which is linked through my channel. I would like an opinion on this from you guys.

You can't monetization movie clip videos on YouTube channels.

So my monetization will be declined after the review? It has been like 2 weeks and none of my videos have been flagged or got copyrighted. Thats why i am asking this.

Can u share ur chanel? I cant get what are u talking about. YouTube doing strange things last few months, espsly when I got my payout denied for no reason from 173$ to 112$.

just give me a link, so i can checkout your creativity XD

It'd be great if you set up a blog and put your adsense there. Send the visitors from your YouTube channel to your blog.

Yes, There is a chance to decline your application. Let's hope for the good.
can join 3rd Party Networks in case my application gets denied? And then can i monetize ?

I mean by joining networks like Freedom Network , Awesomeness , Fullscreen .

Doubtful, man. Usually MCN's don't risk adding channels with nothing but content that doesn't really belong to them, but it's possible. For example, lots of Basketball Highlights channels that have hundreds of thousands of subs post nothing but NBA owned content and go about their business for years without being shut down and make thousands every month.

If you're not approved by adsense, focus on building up a large amount of subs. While you're doing that, find similar channels to you that are succeeding with similar content, then use a plugin or website that shows the MCN of the channel. (VidIQ is my favorite since it shows it on every youtube video you visit) Then apply to those MCN's that have content similar to yours. Usually they require having a well established channel first, so it might take awhile.

Most importantly: Remember you're uploading content that doesn't belong to you, and the owner of the videos can strike your channel at any point, rendering all your "work" pointless. You'll always be walking on a thin bridge, so be prepared to lose everything on the drop of a dime. You're far better off devoting your time and energy into making your own stuff.

It may seem like a lot of work at first, but it's content that belongs to you that you can monetize however you want. Maybe you could do Movie Reviews?

Hope some of that helps.

There is a big risk of getting your channel banned. As short clips are also property of others. As it is not yours own content, it can be dangerous for your channel.

What happened if chain / connect two same movie clip and then upload.

Thank you for you Brief Reply. But today YouTube banned my channel although i didn't have any copyright strikes. How can that happen? Then banned my channel without any prior notice?

If you really want to head into trailer niche better go for fan made trailer since if you will use videos from original trailer then you will be banned.
And as far as i know if you are not allowed to monetize videos via adsense then 3rd party service wont be of any help.

They reviewed your channel and banned it because it's nothing but copyright content... In the future if you're going to do that, get 10k views with original content, apply for adsense, then post the clips after you've been approved. Like I said, they can still ban you anytime, but when you apply for adsense, they WILL look at the channel before they approve you. Once they see what you uploaded, they'll deny the application and close your account because it's obvious you're uploading stuff that isn't yours.

Thank you for the reply. One last question : Can i buy 10k views on my original content ? would that work?

Getting banned only a matter of time, learn to monetize before ban and churn and burn massively if you want. or go the legal route.
