NOTE:
there should be no outside contact information left in HAF threads or posts. This includes the thread starter or those responding.

You've made it to the Hire a Freelancer (HAF) section! This must mean you're looking for people with specific skill sets to hire! Maybe you're looking for a new virtual assistant to help get those things done that you like to shove to the side? Or, you need a developer to help you with a website! And of course SEOs are always in demand!

Please make certain that you carefully read the HAF rules before creating a thread OR replying to one. This will prevent warnings from being applied to your account.

Hire a Freelancer services include, but are not limited to hiring a:

  • Virtual assistant
  • Photoshop expert
  • Developer
  • Influencer
  • SEO expert
  • Digital marketing expert
If you are looking to buy accounts, backlinks, domains, guest posts, etc then you will want to post a thread in the Want to Buy section of the forum.

Please note that the Hire a Freelancer section is the only place on BlackHat World that you may post a thread for this type of service.

Rules for Posting a New Hire a Freelancer Thread

1.) Users must have 15+ posts to start a Hire a Freelancer thread.
2.) The thread must be requesting a service that a freelancer can fulfill.
3.) Include what exactly you are looking for. A template has been provided below for your use.
  • Mandatory: The precise service you are looking for. If you want to hire a SEO whose expertise is in the gambling niche, mention it!
  • Supporting (optional): budget, time scale, expertise level (anyone, expert, etc), any equipment/software they need to provide themselves, etc
Please remember that in order to DM sellers, you will need to have a certain amount of posts. If you go and participate in threads that interest you, it won't take long to unlock the DM feature so you can contact sellers that interest you.

Do not post your outside contact information in your thread. Your options are:
  • Ask users to DM you with more information.
  • Ask users to leave their marketplace threads.
  • Respond to posts if you meet the response criteria.
NOTE: Do not post the same request multiple times. If your HAF has been fulfilled, please send a ticket in to the Support Desk and ask for your thread to be closed. If after the thread has been closed you have the need of the service again, you may post another thread. Otherwise the thread will be closed after 30 days by the Community Team. After the original thread is closed, you may start another with the same request.

My requirements are; [replace with your requirements]

My budget is [enter amount you're paying for service]
I’m looking for an experienced SEO to help boost my website on Google.

The website targets German theme park enthusiasts so the SEO must be knowledgeable about theme and amusement parks. The SEO also must be able to navigate the German language and target the appropriate keywords. A native German speaker is preferable but not essential.

My budget is $1,000 for this campaign.
I’m looking to hire a native English speaking marketer to help launch a new random meme coin.

The requirements for the position are:
  • A portfolio of prior marketing projects
  • Active Twitter/X accounts with actual followers
  • Must be a native English speaker
  • Be able to present a fully detailed, comprehensive marketing plan
  • Be willing to meet in video calls on a daily basis
My budget is negotiable based on experience and marketing plan.

Rules for Replying to a HAF Thread

1.) You must have an active Jr. VIP, Premium or Marketplace seller subscription to reply to HAF threads.
2.) When replying, specify your experience, skills, and/or parts of the service you can help the OP (original poster) with.
3.) When making a post, please make sure it's on topic and useful for the OP. Again, there is a template just below these rules for you to use! As we are no longer allowing contact information to be posted in HAF posts, you may do one or all of these things:
  • Detail why you are the best freelancer for the job and tell the OP to DM you if they're interested.
  • You may post your marketplace link in the thread so the OP can read up on your services.
  • You may DM the OP your contact information along with a link to their HAF thread to show the DM was not unsolicited.
4.) You may not bump any thread older than 30 days from the current day's date if you happen to find one unlocked. Replying to these old threads may incur a warning.

Please keep in mind when responding to HAFs, the OP might not be able to answer any questions that you have. So if you have further questions such as pay, specs, etc, you will need to DM them!

NOTE: You can no longer post your contact information in HAF threads. If you would like your contact information shown publicly, you may purchase a sales thread to link in your replies!

I believe I have [replace with the skills you believe you have that the OP is looking for]! I have [replace with your years experience].

I can [replace with when you can start]. Why don't you take a look at my marketplace thread [replace with thread]
I believe I have the SEO skills you're looking for. I've been helping people with SEO on their websites, or helping them fix it, for 10 years!

Your price looks ok to me, but lets discuss it a little more once you can find out everything I can do for you. I'll DM you, but in the meantime, here's my marketplace thread! https://marketplacethreadexample.com

Do not simply create a single template to copy/paste everywhere. This is considered post count spam and is not what the templates are intended for.

Requests not allowed in Hire A Freelancer section
Currently, we do not allow users to post these requests:
  • Buying/selling/renting Etsy accounts
  • Craigslist services, posting or account verification.
  • EPN accounts.
  • WTB requests. Try our Want to Buy section instead.
  • Contests or crowd sourcing is not allowed. For example, posts asking people to submit logos for with the OP picking a "winner" will be removed and the OP will receive a warning.
  • Submitting, or commissioning another person to submit or write a fake consumer review or review that conceals the fact it has been incentivised.
Posts that break our Terms and Rules will be removed and you may get a warning. Any further additions to this list may be added over time, so you should always check this list before posting here.

Staying Safe
When making or replying to HAFs, please be aware that Black Hat World offers no guarantees about the OP or the freelancers responding to a thread. To make sure that you stay safe, please consider:

- using an escrow service
- conducting a background check
- using a payment method with strong buyer protection (i.e. paypal - not using friends and family)
- making sure the communication stays on BHW in a DM so you have grounds to start a dispute if things go sour

For more information on staying safe, please read our thread titled, "Avoiding Scams & Staying Safe On Black Hat World".

Above all, use common sense. If you are not happy with an agreement, inform the other party you do not wish to continue before you commit to providing or buying a service. If you feel you have been ripped off or a transaction is not conducted properly, please post a thread within the Dispute Resolution forum. Make sure you read the Dispute Resolution section rules first.

There is one thing which is not clear to me. What if a normal user directly pms the thread owner instead of replying in the thread? Will that be considered against the rules? Should we report those conversations?

Finally, only JR VIP members and those who have an active marketplace thread can apply to HAF posts. Thanks, BHW team.

Definitely a good move. Jr VIP is very reasonably priced. I bet most people could make the cost back in just a couple days, then the rest is profit. If you're not willing to invest in your business, then you really don't have any place trying to do business on here.
