Here are some tips on researching a seller and determining their reputation. Please keep in mind that these factors should be considered all together.

The Seller
  • How long ago did they join Black Hat World according to their profile? Whilst our marketplace staff do their best to vet a seller, a new seller means that there hasn't been as much time for other members to report any suspicious activity.
  • How active have they been since they joined? If they joined a couple of years ago, but all of their posts were made in the last couple of months, this should be considered a red flag.
  • Does their sales thread link to a website? How established does this website seem?
  • Does the seller only respond to positive feedback and ignore negative feedback?
  • Does the seller respond professionally to negative feedback?
  • How do their sales thread descriptions and policies sound to you? How do they handle disputes with buyers in their sales thread?
  • Does the seller respond to inquiries?
  • How does the seller respond to service inquiries?
  • What do other people say about them when you search for them on the web? Do they only seem to exist here on Black Hat World, or do they have an established business? Does their business seem to have only been set up in the last couple of months?
The Sales Thread
  • Is the price too good to be true? A reasonable price doesn't necessarily mean that it's legitimate, but an unbelievably good price should raise red flags. Bear in mind that your purchase doesn't just include the product and service, but it includes the customer service as well.
  • How do they expect payment from their customers? Is their PayPal account verified? Do they request, or even insist, that you pay via PayPal's "Friends and Family" feature, Venmo, Zelle, or Bitcoin? Know that these options will void your buyer protection.
  • Check their sales thread and see if there is anything that doesn't make sense. If something they say in their ad copy makes you go "huh?", then proceed with caution.
  • Are they creating an urgency to buy from them (fear of missing out)? Do they try making you feel stupid for asking questions about what they offer? These are clear signs that you should just walk away
  • Do they accept any payment methods with buyer protection, or are all of the payment methods they accept non-refundable/disputable?
  • What comes up when you search for their Skype ID in Google? Have they been banned from any platforms? Additionally, before finalising a payment, search their payment e-mail in Skype and see what comes up. If another Skype ID comes up, search for that Skype ID on Google and see if they've been banned from any platforms.
Keep in mind that whilst black hat internet marketing is not inherently bad, the industry does attract bad people from time to time. Here on Black Hat World, we do try our best to remove scammers from our platform and we most definitely do not want anyone to get scammed. The moderators in our disputes section do try to help victims of scams get their money back, but there is no guarantee that they can do this.

At the end of the day, it's up to you, the buyer, to do your own research and use common sense when dealing with sellers online.

What I'd like to add to this one: How long ago did they join Black Hat World according to their profile?

It's not just when they joined, it's how active they have been since joining.
When someone doesn't post for 4 or 5 years then to me this rings alarm bells, when they then open a sales thread.Also check their posting history and compare the style of replies and the quality of the English used.

And I always recommend doing some google search especially using the skype or telegram that the user is using
or the payment email or ID
This.

That way i found many resellers on here. They use the same Telegram ID on other forums and expose themselves.

You can add 7 different emails in Paypal.
In Telegram you can change name and username any number of times. You can hide your phone number.
Why a scammer put the same id or email once he already scammed someone?
Google research will not help in that case.

So if you think so just read the comment above
If he is smart he wouldn't be a scammer

Quality of English?
Most of the shitlists I have seen, scammers are very well at English.

As a buyer you can already see this info from the profile page, or am I missing something?
For example, I can see your recent posts here https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/misterf.78749/#latest-activity I can see when you joined on that page and I can see your historic comments to see if you're the sort of seller I'd want to work with. Basically, the profile page is where the majority of the info is at.

Beware guys. There is 1 seller I met on BHW couple of days ago. As he advertised his Skype for further communication. I contacted him over skype to find out further details about his services.

Guess what ?

He considered that I am really going to buy his product then and there. He chased me like TOM & Jerry. In just couple of hours he made my life hell and started behaving rudely. I never committed him during our call that I am going to buy his product so soon, obviously one has to think, decide, moreover after misbehavior he banned me on skype. Who CARES.

This is just my experience I shared here for you guys.

Nice job @Zwielicht as usual ( :

As I said a few days ago:

"It's not about the platform, it's about people, and while we can change rules and add new ones, unfortunately, we can't change people."

Anyway, I recommend anyone to bookmark this one and copy/paste it when someone needs help.

I don't know if you're plain stupid or trolling. Considering this is a 2015 account that started posting 2 weeks ago, I'd guess you have bought this account as your first post was 26th asking how to upgrade.

````how do i get premium subscrption and what are the benefits? Can anyone guide for it.``````
When someone posts in excellent English, then starts posting 4 years later and it looks like a 5 year old replying, then it stands out like a sore thumb.
Yes but also check the posting history, to see if there are any big gaps.
Like the person I replied to here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/researching-black-hat-world-sellers.1374607/post-14890024
A 2015 account that started posting 26Nov2021 = avoid like the plague.
Also reputation helps a lot, Think as if like this account would scam someone and stake their reputation? Most big reputation people wouldn't do that so I think considering this point is also a good metric to weed out the scammers..
Ofcourse at the end of the day it's on the buyers and their due diligence!
I am happy to provide my real document for verification.
Its not necessary to login everytime.
I am checking all new posts every day without login. I am busy with my website and YT projects and only getting info.
And don't worry I am not offering any sales thread here. I am buyer not seller.
Jr. Exec VIP can call us stupid.
Have seen some Jr. Exec VIPs banned recently (in last month). Hope you are not on that path.
Don't call stupid again. you have never ever that rights.
