Website is not getting google/organic traffic. Is My Website Penalized?

My Website is 2 months old. I hired freelancers. they did on-page SEO and Off-page SEO. One Freelancer created 5 thousand backlinks but Still no Google/Organic traffic. any Solution? This is my website www.downbuddy.com

Check if your site is indexed seach in google "siteurl" , And use a serp tool to see your ranking . you can use this one https://www.serplab.co.uk/

It doesn't matter how many backlinks you're having on your site. But, it does matter, those links are from quality sites. It's best to write some unique content and post on your site. Once again, make sure that your site on-page and off page SEO is perfect.

It depends, if you have very low to low competitive keyword(s), 2 month is enough for ranking....I would say quite high. (possibly page 1-2)
If you are having middle to high competitive keyword(s) then 2 month is surely not enough to rank.

And WHAT kinds of backlink did your freelancer make? Web2.0? Profile backlink? blog comments?
5000 in 2 months is quite unnatural! Are they just spam? If so, go and clear them.

Let Assume I did Research and collected top keywords. Now I have to put these keywords in the article? then my keywords will rank in google?

What was your thinking, when you assigned work to freelancer. If you don't have any keyword, what did you gave him for ranking, or you gave your domain url for backlink,and did he delivered any backlink report or just screenshots. If you only made links for your domain then don't expect any or so much traffic.

Look at competitor sites and follow what they have done for now, then learn how to SEO your site yourself. Create branded social media accounts and post your link.

You got automated backlinks not worth anything. Add your site on WMT and check if there is any penalty. Also check how many links are reported. Disavow all then start adding content to your site.
