Hello there, how are You guys doing today?

I have some questions regarding YT content. Currently, I have one monetised Youtube Channel. Now I have 73 videos on this channel with an average length of 5-8 minutes per video. My question is this: let's say I get hands-on another monetised YT channel. I take my 70 videos (let's round the number up) and create 35 videos for the new channel. Basically taking 2 videos and merging them together. My questions are these: will these videos rank? (New keywords, new thumbnail, new tags etc. Will Youtube punish reach or demonetise the channel? Basically, is this even possible? o_O

Thank You very much for Your answers and additional comments.

Hope You have a nice day.

I’d say it’s quite risky, YouTube has a good way to find duplicated content, especially because you will monetise both channels.

That said though, it’s not impossible. From my experience I’ve seen the same video uploaded hundreds of times just with a different beginning and ending, and with a 10-15% speed increase, and YT did not suspect anything. But I wouldn’t say it’s safe at all!

Thank You for Your answer. What about this: let's say I'm making a series about some topic, then at the end of the month or week I could make a compilation of videos that I've made. Would that work in any way?

I would suggest you not to do it. I did similar thing and got monetization disabled after 5-6 of my own compilation videos. That count as repetitive content.
