Youtube + ?? = $$

I have been thinking of this for quite some time now. I wish to know what do you guys consider as the best way to partner with YouTube videos? I have been using Clickbank and a couple of health niche CPA offers too but no luck so far no sales even after ranking like on the 1st page of YouTube and Google video results too. What should I do?

Sorry to be such a noob, but whats a content locker and how does it work?

content locking is when you lock content / download link and people need to fill in surveys or etc to unlock download / website content etc. When survey is filled owner of that content gets $.

Youtube has a life and a pulse of its own. Not to mention the people who are viewing the videos. I see videos which are posted by people, who make it so obvious with watermarks from the beginning of the video and in the description they put bit.ly links, that they are there because theyre marketing and trying to make money.
Its the in-your-face marketing that people hate. Im doing YT as well and I have scaled things up now with other stuff like Facebook and Pinterest, I'm making a healthy $150-$200 on an average per day. Its a ton of hard work and sometimes I find myself fatigued, but this world has so much to offer that one cant lose out on the $200 a day and has to keep up the aggression with regards to marketing.
My advice from what I've seen- make videos which educate and inform people. It provides inside info (well some) to people who are unsure to buy or not. Make it personal and that you care for your subs or people who view it.
Think about this: If you go to a store which has a lot of hype and no info on the products being sold, you wont buy it because you will have people just dying to sell it to you. But if you go to a store where the salesperson informs you of the product and tells you pros and cons, then you will establish an unknown trust factor in the sales person and the brand because you get a sense of being cared for.
Similar with Youtube. I hope I have helped in my own little way
