Youtube Views as of Update

Hello,

I'm new on this forum so excuse me if this is posted in the wrong place. I've been reading online about the update for the past couple hours and it seems like buying views is no longer generating organic views and it will not translate to the video ranking.

Like I said, I'm very new to this I've only bought views for one video and it worked very well. The views were not high quality so they dropped, but my video ranked and I got tons of organic views! I also bought some back links which might have had something else to do with it.

My question is what exactly are the repercussions of this update? I've been seeing a couple of the major SEO sites suspend their youtube view services because of this. Is this because they cannot provide High Retention Views? Or because the views will not allow the video to rank? Has this happened before with an update, and was the problem resolved?

Side Note: I know country matters when it comes to views. If I buy USA views (assuming all of this gets fixed) does that mean my video will rank in the united states only?

Again sorry for all the questions but I would really appreciate some guidance.

Hi, I have the same problem. Actually YT views US or anywhere works for WW ranking. But maybe less. But it seems like these views doesn't count after the new update and even ghost your video.
