The same method of ranking that you used to know. Still works
Lol what method? If i had one i wouldnt be asking for one. What do you use?

Follow this process:
1. Create a live event
2. Stream your video to the live event after having properly optimized your event title, description, and tags.
After you do those, your video will rank for the keyword depending on competition, but it will not stick for a long time.
Solution:
Get get views and engagements to the video (you can use crowdsearch - hxxp://crowdsearch.me to do that.)
Use translation, end cards, etc.
Improve the authority of the channel
Doing some or all of these will help your video ranking, but you have to bear in mind that everything still depend on how difficult the competition in that niche is.

I've noticed the live streaming method losing power over the last few weeks though. It used to be guaranteed rankings on the YouTube SERPs as well as Google, now it's hit or miss for me.
