Hey everyone I make videos for my music which I sell through my site in YouTube. Recently everyone in this niche started buying views/likes/shares and have optimized their videos for ranking. My question is how can u rank easily? I know and do all the basic stuff like title description and keywords. The only video I ranked I bought 25k high retention views, 400 likes and 500 shares and it barely ranked. This was weird knowing there was a guy ranking for the same keyword with 200 subs and around 200 views with 3 likes. This is confusing to me because our videos were optimized the same way and mine had a ton more engagement. Apperantly he does something sketchy. I tried my buying views likes and shares method again and failed. My video did not rank.
What am I doing wrong? Only thing I have not tried is making backlinks because I don't really understand it and heard it doesn't help much. Why am I being outranked by people with the same keywords as me that have considerably less views and engagement?? Thank you
