YouTube Pre-Monetization

Hi, I have had a gaming channel for about a year. It started as just a hobby, where I was only uploading walkthroughs. I know that raw walkthroughs are not monetizable. About a week ago, I started uploading videos with commentary. A few of my videos got some views, and in a few days, I will be eligible for monetization. What do you suggest? Should I delete the old walkthrough videos, or can I make them private?

I know that my new videos will pass monetization, but what about the old shorts?

If there have not huge views on your old videos than you can delete.

No don't delete the videos and don't make it private, sometimes people need to see that we all begin from somewhere too. Because when you become a successful youtuber people need to see your past efforts, failures, resilience, persistence.... No one will ever dare say your success is overnight success.

What do you mean wih "pre monetization" ?
