Youtube Journey to Backpacking the World

Ok! Finally got through them all! Out of 2400+ keywords I am now left with 184, although a few I have already used previously! Each keyword has minimum 200 monthly searches. I'm probably going to have some time today to get to work on some videos. Hopefully I can get them all online soon. I also won't be spending time duplicating these videos yet. I just want to get all 184 niches online, plus all my old videos and then rank everything.

I think after all of these videos are online I should be hitting $50/day. Once they are online I will also start experimenting with other networks, at least for my tier 1 traffic since I know it could be making a lot more.

Alright guys, November is here. I have promised myself that this month I am working my ass off at changing my life. I am not getting into gear until the 4th, but when that day comes I have a lot of work to do. Here's what I have jotted down on my whiteboard.

November Goals:

-Get all new videos online
-Rank 2-3 videos
-Run 1st media buy campaign
-Gross $1k online
-Strict ketogenic diet
-Workout 3+ times/week
-$50/day by December
-Learn new songs on guitar/piano

General Ideas:

-Split test new LPs

Making some progress today. Been going down the list of niches I have and making some videos for them. Unfortunately many of them I already have videos for, so I won't end up with as many new videos as I had anticipated. We'll see though, I think I should still end up with about 75 new videos by the end of it all. I currently have 17 videos created and I am working on making some more today. Tomorrow I will be busting my ass off to get as much done as possible. I am hoping to get everything done and uploaded in the next 3 days. I might be working 10+ hours/day the next few days but I think I can do it.

Once all that's done, I will be buying some services to rank some more videos. That shouldn't take too long, so after that I want to start getting my first media buy campaign up and running.

It's gonna be a hell of a month. I'll probably lose money with media buying, but it's worth it for the knowledge I will gain. Not to mention, I can write off the $500 I will be depositing into SiteScout. After all is said and done, I think this month is going to be a huge breaking point in my career and my life. I never plan on getting a full time job anymore. I'm hoping that soon I can get out of this kiddy fake hack stuff soon and start calling this a real business. The end game is media buys and creating my own products/membership sites, and of course, a set of email lists in different niches that I can tap into whenever I need some extra capital.

I don't know what else to write down now so I'm just going to get back to work. If anyone needs some relaxation while working, I found this on Reddit the other day and have been listening to it ever since.

So anyway, not much done yet today. Had to work 11-4 and then had to go get groceries to start my diet. I'm in the process of cooking a huge batch of chilli right now. It's pretty similar to this recipe:


I'm pretty stoked that I'm finally starting this diet now. Gotta look good for when I get to see my girlfriend in a few months

As far as IM goes, I'm going to be working on making some new videos tonight and then hitting the hay early since I'm trying to get up at 8am every day. I'll probably work until about 11pm, pop a melatonin to knock me out, and then watch an episode of TWD.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Made almost $30 again. Right now I'm usually around $15. Hopefully by the end of the month I'm not making pocket change anymore.

Alarm clock got reset and didn't go off today. No worries though, I still managed to get up at 10am. It's not 8am like I intended but tomorrow if my alarm works I should be getting up on schedule.

Today I'll be working all day to try and get through as many videos as possible. The first thing I'm doing is uploading the videos I already have done. I need to start getting some videos online and start making some money as soon as possible and the 25 videos I have ready are the highest searched niches, which are therefore the potentially highest earning videos. Once I have them all stuck I'll be trying to rank a 5-6 of them depending on the cash on hand I have.

Anyway, just going to finish cooking breakfast (bacon and eggs, no bread/carbs) and then I'll be working for roughly 10 hours today depending on how insanely bored I get doing the same thing for so long.

One hour gone, and 15 new videos down. 15 vids/hour isn't too bad!

EDIT: Taking a short break now.

Another 15 videos down. This is getting incredibly boring. Not sure how much more I can take. I'm going to watch an episode of TWD and then prepare all the videos I have for uploading. I'm still waiting to receive accounts I ordered yesterday. He said they would be in last night but he's kind of unreliable when it comes to his delivery time estimates. Hopefully they come in sometime today so I can get the 55 videos I have done all up and running.

I can't do anymore today. It's just too boring and exhausting. Still, I got a ton done today. 30 new videos created and 25 videos prepped for upload.

Tomorrow I'm going to prep the next 30 which means I need to make the landers and add them into MVB Pro with all the details they require. If I feel like doing more after that I'll dig further into my list of niches. The niches from here forward have about 600 or less searches/month, but there are a lot of them and they should be super easy to rank for so they should come in handy.

Off to a pretty bad start today. Just woke up now and it's noon. I may or may not have to go to work in 5 hours so we'll see how much I get done. I'm also planning on working out today so that will also eat into some of my time. I'm going to try and at least get all 30 videos prepped for upload.

Glad you enjoy it as well! I listen to it everyday! Thanks for your interest too. I hope to start media buying soon but there's still a lot of work that needs to be done before my first campaign actually gets launched. I don't want to just go into things blind. I also spent a lot of money last month on a bunch of things like a season pass for snowboarding which kind of ate into my funds, but it shouldn't really be a problem. I still hope to get my first campaign up by the end of this month.

Don't have much time today. Had to help move some furniture from one house to another. I have a couple hours anyway. Still prepping the 30 videos. It's Friday, but since I don't plan on drinking this month, I should be home around 9 or 10 to be able to squeeze a bit more work in.

EDIT: My account supplier is MIA... So fed up with him. I wish I could find someone with quality accounts and at least some half decent customer service.

Just realized I have 47 accounts that haven't been used yet. My supplier came online today saying he had an emergency. Not sure if it's BS or not. He still isn't giving me a straight answer of when I will receive my accounts. Anyway, I'm going to upload 47/55 of the new videos with these accounts, given they are all still alive and well. I'm also going to create a new campaign in MVB Pro called 200 plus MS (monthly searches). This campaign will hold all of my videos with over 200 monthly searches, in other words, the videos that actually have potential to make money. I'm only going to focus on these videos from now on.

As far as the rest of things go, I have made a note to buy some banners soon for my media buy campaign. I will most likely do that today or tomorrow. I have also made a note to look into creating a membership site. I bookmarked KraftKyle's thread on membership sites awhile ago and it really appeals to me. Sure the first one might fail, but even if I can get one signup I'd still consider it a success. I really just want to get some recurring income coming in and diversify my online portfolio.

Not sure what happened but none of the videos uploaded because they all timed out. Upon trying again it seems to be working fine now. Aside from that, my banners are pretty much all done and they look great. It's really exciting but really nerve racking because I kind of forced myself into this media buy campaign. I'm scared of losing my initial $500 investment, which is a likely case being it's my first media buy campaign. The good news is, I made enough last month to cover the costs. The bad news is, I can't really afford to buy services to rank any videos this month. I might be able to shell out a little towards my videos, but we'll see.

Everybody strolls into these journey threads just to look at earnings rather than the actual gold mine of information. I know because I've done it myself. I won't be posting any screenshots of my earnings for a while because I'm not happy with them. I'm only making about $10-20/day right now.


Anywho, it's a BEAUTIFUL morning! Not so much the weather, but my youtube accounts are in AND my ads are in! BAM! More good news, some of those videos that were uploaded yesterday are already getting some clicks coming in. This is amazing. I'm just praying the videos stick!

I'm going to go make that new campaign in MVB I was talking about, and make sure they are all uploaded.

Keep on keeping on. With the right amount of work, your $10-$20 days that you are not proud of will be no more.
