So I made this side hustle on Youtube, its a lo-fi channel I make all the music production myself.

I was getting 30-90 views a day, not much but its honest growth right :)
Note: I was using vidiq ext. to help me understand what SEO I needed to make for that niche and evaluate daily growth.

Then one day, Youtube decided to boost my channel impressions 5k-15k a day (indexed image with stats), and then I got an extra motivation and started producing a little bit more because that boost has bringing me around 150 new visitors a day.
Then after a few days (note: I was producing and uploading new content everyday with 0 copyright claims) and suddenly those impressions became 70-80 a day.
I uploaded one video after that (as you can see in indexed image) and did not even get off those 70-80 impressions

Well from 5-15k a day to 70-80 impressions its not very motivating and I lost this motivation but I did not stop making new content (did not upload but its all ready).

My question is, what happen?
I mean the channel is kinda old (early 2017), never had a strike, all my content is made by myself (music production, video rendering, seo, everything) so yes I understand the boost but why just the boost died like that.

Waiting for hear your opinions! :)
Thanks.

Maybe your thumbnail and tittle are not catchy enough, so people are not clicking on it. So the algorithm decided that your content is not worth promoting.

This is possibly due to either a low CTR ( bad thumbnail ) or a good CTR but with low engagement ( clickbait thumbnail ) during the boost period. try to optimize your thumbnails/content to get better engagement and youtube may give you a second boost to perform better.

I know nothing about YT so take this with a grain of salt but maybe the YT algo has a hook algorithm like tiktok does. Meaning that tiktok is known for feeding lots of views to new users to get them hooked and then it just drops off like a
Cliff.

Your ctr is at 0.7%...
So youtubes algorithm decided to stop promoting the video. This means either you need better thumbnails or titles.

Well ctr 0.70%... but for example almost all videos have 100% likes only and no dislikes.
Its a music channel what type of thumbnail should I put, I mean this is not a gaming video where I can put those crazy titles in thumbnail and all that.

A music channel like what? A type veat channel or a channel like promoting sounds. If you have a channel similar to promoting sounds, use the images similar to what they use. They use super simple clean cartoon/anime pictures with a solid color background. Similar to what Angel la cinecia beats is doing. And a ctr of 0.70 is below 1%. A ctr that is considered decent is around 5--7%. So definitely perfect those thumbnails l, there is no rush, as long as your content is good, then its all about patience

I make my own music, its called "lofi" an instrumental type beat for study, work etc.
The content is 100% unique because I make everything and looks like people like it and its a shame to have such a small grow its such a good content.

The thumbnails, I put animated gifs as music video and the same as a thumbnail.
For example, I put a background rain sound and gif where it is raining to give perception to the audience, just one of the techniques I use.

Nice! Lofi is huge, you can definitely have your channel blow up in that niche. And the fact that everything is original too makes your value even better. I'd say, figure out a way to get that CTR really high and then you'll be golden. Play around with different thumbnail styles. Look at channels that are already getting alot of views and make a better thumbnail than them while keeping it in your own liking. Simplicity is key

Music channels are harder than ever. Without the black hat method, there are inevitably fewer opportunities.

the CTR on my music stuff can get up to 16%, even my bad videos are like 3%. you gotta be creative with your thumbnails, youtube is a visual medium. anything under 7% or so CTR I consider a dud. without the video of the girl with headphones studying those lofi beats would be nothing lol

Yes but I have 100% like ratio and the music its actually good.
I recorded all the instruments, everything its done by myself, I cannot put those thumbnails with clickbait titles (not used in the genre) and the "lofi girl" a costume design costs around 200$ each.

Update: Today one big lofi channel with almost 4 Million subs (according to stats the channel with major presence on lofi on youtube, amount of music etc) sent me a DM saying my music was amazing!
