So, I decided to create accounts with android emulator and verified them with Voip numbers.

Uploaded a movie. Got no copyright claim as its from a small studio and a local distributor.

Guess what? It's been 48 hours and video is not even indexed. Tried searching with various filters but video can't be found anywhere. Not even with url search.

I think YouTube is flagging channels that are created with emulator. I will create an account with my personal cell phone and will post an update about this situation. This is really frustrating. Getting ghosted is time waste.

Try to drive some views, likes & comments to it?

just to make sure... video is set to public yes?
try to change stuff on the description and/or title or thumbnail and save it again, let us know...

Yes. Video is public. I will fiddle with video details just to see if it changes anything. But, I'm afraid that YouTube has introduced account ghosting.

Maybe you need some activity on your YouTube account before uploading videos.

Maybe YouTube is detecting emulators.

Maybe Voip numbers are raising the red flag.

Maybe, the complete IP range is blocked. I don't think YouTube will go this far.

There are too many scenarios here. 3 of my accounts seems to be ghosted. I didn't even use link in description.

BTW, I'm using YouTube for marketing since 2008. When there were rapidshare, shareshit, etc.. So I know YouTube. Those were the golden days. Wish I had more knowledge at that time.

Sometimes videos take a few days to index. Give it another couple of days then check again and see if the video is showing up anywhere. I've been uploading videos for a long time and haven't had a single ghosted video - I have had many that take a while to index though.

Yes, let's see how many days it takes. This seems to be due to the age of accounts.

HOLY SHIT : AN UPDATE
Guys, YouTube ain't kidding anymore. I spent 70 hours testing various uploads, registered accounts with PVA without and without PVA, boosted some videos, used vpns.

What did I learn?

No matter the competition, I mean even if there are literally just 5 videos for your niche, your video won't rank if it's not unique. I'm talking about the content in the video itself! I will lay down test process.

Test 1
Created a brand new account with double pva.

Downloaded an already uploaded movie from YouTube.

Reuploaded the same video.

Used custom thumbnail of different film.

Used Title of different movie with description and tags.

Trend : Super high. Just released film.

Competition : No video with same title. None.

Results : Video not indexed. Even after boosting 1000 slow views from smm panel. Made few more accounts, none seemed to work with ranking.

Test 2
Created a brand new account with double pva.

Downloaded a video from a premium website. This video was not yet uploaded on YouTube by anyone as it was just released on the premium site. (Sites like Netflix)

Uploaded the video on YouTube.

Added relevant title, description and tags.

Trend : Super high. Just released episode.

Competition : None. But there are over 40 pre-review/hype/trailer videos from stupid accounts with same title I am going to use. (eg. Full Show)

Results : Just a minute after uploading and processing, video gets 11 views. Then after an hour, video has 2.3K views. Gained 180 subs. After 4 hours, 7K views and video is taken down and 1 strike.

Any experts please tell me how can I earn money from this short burst of views?

YouTube has a system in place that checks each and every video for duplication while processing it. That check decides if it will be indexed and ranked. This is my understanding from 70 hours of testing.

Unique video containt is the key. If you download a video off youtube and reupload it without editing, you will face this issue. If your video is totally unique, you will be ranked.

this is what i experienced from my tests, duplicate videos are not indexed or shown anywhere in search. also sometimes title or tags are reason for ghosting as well as account but sometimes.

I had that problem aswell. To fix it you need to change title of the videos with less "competitive" words and tags but then you barely get any views. All of my views are from youtube search, only 0,7% are from suggested.

Yes maybe this is the reason, i used much competitor keywords with high searches monthly i also changed the name of my channel so it might be because of that. BTW if i make changes in the title, tags and channel name can i escape ghosting without reupload?

Thanks

To you experts this may seem like a weak question, but can't you just use a simple intro creator to add an intro to the front of the video you are re-using ? Or does YT algorithm scan the entire video for duplicate content. That would seem very resource intensive for youtube to do, but maybe that's how it works. I'm just trying to learn what you guys probably already know.

10-4, I was referring to the above quote. Thanks though, I agree completely unique would be the way to go.

I am facing the exactly same issue, i just made the channel 2 days ago and uploader 5 videos (All videos are reuploaded but only one of them is compilation). Even my channel is not indexed yet.

It does not have to be a unique video to get ghosted, if you use a new account or use certain types of titles with words like hacks or cheats your videos will get ghosted too. Btw, what was the reason you got a strike? copyrights?
