Youtube Copyright....

Hi EveryOne
I just Received A copyright Strike on my video
But for the first time It says "
We have identified copyrighted content in your video.

You monetize this video and share the revenue generated with the copyright holder.
"
Im not new with youtube but this is my first time getting this kind of issue
So my question is : Is it okey to keep the video?
or Should i delete it ?
If i keep the video, im i going to have issue with my monetization?

Are you sure it's a copyright Strike or copyright Claim? Because these two are different. A copyright Claim doesn't impact your channels good standing in any way - as it's probably saying in your email and your screenshot attached - you just simply don't make money from your video as the revenue goes to the copyright holder. If it's a copyright Strike that's a warning and with three of those your account could get closed. With only one strike you might lose some YT features for a short while but won't affect much. So to me it looks like it's a copyright claim, did you use a copyrighted song in your video? And to answer to your question, if the video brings a lot of traffic to your channel I'd say keep it. If the claim really bothers you and you want a completely "clean" channel might as well delete it. When I get a claim I either only remove the claimed song and keep the video, or if that's not possible, I just delete the video mostly because it throws off the analytic metrics a bit as I keep a close eye on the revenue vs views ratio for my channel, but that's just me.
 
Usually, if the copyright claimer needs you to pay to buy his service, you can buy if it's worth (like using music). If not possible, you need to keep it private.

Yes u right its a copyright claim
usually the revenue goes to the owner but in my ytb analystics the video keep earning that what i dont understand....
 
If the claim is only for part of the video like one clip in a longer compilation or music that is only used for the intro then the claiment will get part of the revenue from this video and you will get the rest. I don't know how YouTube calculates the revenue distribution.
 
its only a claim (not a strike) and you are actually sharing revenue with the claimant which means they know the entire content is not theirs and are only claiming whatever part is theirs. Ive had that before. Its up to you if you want to delete it. It doesn't affect your monetization or standing in any way. if it was a strike, the video would have been removed by youtube first and youtube will notify you of the takedown and the strike.
 
You aee sharing revenue, thats why u still get money from the video.

There are a lot of scammers claiming false copyright ownership so look that up.

if iit is a copyright claim and stil earn from it, then dont delete the video.
becausei have a lot of videos in my channells with the same issue ... and never got any prob until now
 
you can leave the video on the channel, you just won't be able to monetize your channel with it. All income from the ads will go to the person who made the claim. but your video will still be showing and gaining subscribers to your channel.
