YouTube Copyright Strikes

We filed a copyright infringement request with YouTube to take down 5 of our videos, and they successfully removed 5 of them. Despite having received 5 copyright strikes, that channel continues to upload videos. How it's possible?

It's possible that the channel owner disputed the copyright strikes or YouTube hasn't completed the review process to take further action against the channel.

if all 5 strikes came from one company it's considered as 1 strike im saying it because I received 3 strikes before for 3 of my videos from 1 company/claimant and they only counted as one.

Since YouTube sends copyright warnings to 5 videos at once, it considers this to be 1 copyright strike.

This could be the answer. I also remember in my old channel, I receive strikes on 7 videos, but it counted only as 2 strikes. I receive an email from youtube about copyright strike but somehow its only 2 email, 1 email for the 3 videos, and 1 email for the other 4 videos.

Did you report the 5 video at once? or maybe you report them with very close time interval?

There are a few possible explanations for why the channel is still able to upload videos even though it received copyright strikes and had some videos taken down.
