During my youth in a small town in the Urals, they were preparing for the mayoral elections. There was one candidate from the opposition party who refused to listen to the regional leadership, did not withdraw his candidacy, and decided to fight to the end.

The opposition candidate was a big prankster. He built his own church, which was not accepted into the fold of the Russian Orthodox Church, and he conducted services there himself. It was a local sect.

And so, to change the situation in the right direction and help with the elections, they sent us to this small town.

What did we do to turn the tide of the pre-election struggle? We bought wolf fat from hunters, made a fire at night near the church, and melted the fat in a huge cauldron. Then we smeared the facade of the sectarian church with fat.

In the morning, all the local dogs ran to the church and, sensing the wolf smell from the walls, began to howl at the top of their lungs. Shortly after, the residents began to gather at the sound of the dogs' howling, crossing themselves as they watched the dogs bark and howl at the church. "This is definitely some kind of devilry," the potential voters whispered to each other. We filmed all of this and immediately uploaded the videos to YouTube, sharing links to local social media groups. Needless to say, the videos received tens of thousands of views, the opposition candidate was immediately labeled a sectarian, and he lost the elections with a resounding defeat.

This is an example of how you can make a viral video without any investment. The idea and implementation are the most important things.
