Xrumer and Broadband Speed

I have read that you need a MEGA-SUPER-SERVER to get the most out of xrumer. That's fine, cause I plan to hosted locally. I can reset my IP and a powerful PC is pretty cheap today.

But I have also heard that you need a powerful connection. and there's my problem. The best thing I can manage to get is 15mbps download and 1,5mbps upload (yes, those bastards!). So, my obvious questions is: do I need more upload speed than download speed for xrumer?
If the answer is "yes", is there someone with a small connection (like mine) that could share his experience.

#1 It's going to much slower.

#2 Look out for complaints to your ISP about you spamming them. ISP's get rather angry
with you, if they do, just say your antivirus has been going nuts lately and promptly start using proxies after that.

#3 Bandwidth, lots of ISP's limit your monthly usage. Such as Comcast in the U.S. has a "hidden" limit of 600GB/mo for residential users. You don't know about it until they call you acting like they're with the FBI.

#4 Your router. My biggest problem when I did this was that my residential and then the small business one I got to replace it, could not handle the load. Look up a thing called contrack, most routers don't have enough memory to handle more than ~4000 or so open connections (which XRumer makes a lot of), I'm using a dedicated box running vyatta now.

#5 Be prepared to modify your windows settings (www(dot)lvllord.de/?url=tools)

And #6...be prepared for your network to go slower than a turtle.
