I think the screen resolution will be really low, hanging and doesn't feel real. If this is not the case, then it has the potential to be the default setup for all new laptops
 
It looks interesting, but without testing before, I cannot throw away 2 grands. More and more similar services will appear in the future.
 
Certainly looks interesting. I'd have to wait for some reviews of the early access peeps first.
See what they have to say.
 
If I had the need for it, I definitely would. I own a few custom built PCs.

I'd buy that purely for novelty @Echo
 
useless...
imagine the glasses break or you want to use your laptop on a airplane or at school/university.
i prefer a thin $1k laptop tht will get the job done
 
just buy ar glasses, link with your laptop, there you got one instantly depending on shipping lol. and good ar glass is arround $400-$700 .this device is overpriced what it did basicly remove monitor and link directly to the ar glass..
 
My oldest kid costs more than $2K/mo and she has no screens at all, so this is a no brainer for me.

Joking aside, this is so cool, I have to give it a try.
 
I wouldn't buy it. It looks very impressive, but I think it leads to more distractions rather than benefits.

For those who see a benefit in it, the price is fine if the quality is as presented.
 
If it comes without motion sickness & won't affect people who ain't 20-20 vision
Yeah sure !
Monitors take up so much space
