Okay so I am starting a new authority website that will have a huge wiki of articles. Now I pretty much suck when it comes to technical things. I want to create a website similar to wikihow dot com(not the niche but the platform).

Meaning that all I want is a simple homepage with a list of categories and a search box at the top. Where if they click on any category it would take them to another page with all the sub-categories and articles(which I will be posting daily) that fall under this category.

Would wordpress be right for this. If so, what theme do you suggest. I know this may sound like a stupid question but I really am not a tech-savvy so please help me out guys.

    Thanks!

WordPress is best and noob friendly. If you have technical skills, you can go for Joomla or a custom made site.
