Worst Google update ever !

Hi

I have been into casino since 5 years now and I always felt whatever optimization I did on my sites were good. I was getting consistent traffic but from my network since today when I woke up to check my ranks and saw most of my websites have gone .

Some did came up but all in all I have lost around 50% of traffic ,huh .
I have been uploading top quality content on my website and dont prefer to inject 1000 links in a month on my websites .I go slow and prefer to make only quality links like above Pr 2 with good relevant content
I see some of the most stupid sites with 5 pages content have risen up and my site has come down somewhere to 5th page
What do you guys think could be the reason ?
If your websites have also been attacked by this update please do post .We can all make out what mistakes we are doing in common to avoid not to do that in coming days .
I hope this discussion could bring some help to sufferers !

No one knows anything... I myself didn't got hit and I mostly use blackhat seo building...

They must have some kind of algo to target only certain sites.. dunno why...

I came here for answerz, and if the answer is this is a simple dance, I can live with that.

I lost almost all of my SE traffic around 20.03 on a site. I have a "whitehat" site, and I sendt a reconideration request to google. I got the answer today. No manual action was taken, and it was a general text stating that it could be one of the 200 rank factors that could cause a drop. The traffic is still gone, and I was hoping for a explanation or something from G..
If I dont get any traffic back, I might aswell go into blackhat to get it back on track..

Yes... something is happening as we speak. Most of my websites are gone from top 100 search results... A few websites are ranking better. Overall I haven't lost traffic on ~20 websites but some of the websites are acually gone from google... Auch!

I personally did my analyis in last 48 hours and actually felt that despite of my websites that have lost ranks ,google done a lot better to make the SE ranks more customer friendly
now I am sure from these updates guys running cheap seo companies ,placing 100 links for X$ and doing all shitty work to rank their websites better will be out of the market ,
What would remain would be frequent updation ,regular monitization of websites ,all verification that are needed to protect the websits and much more .
All the websites in which my department has spent like weeks in producing some good work ,google has recognised it and has placed those websites to better ranks
I am actually glad that SEO would now be lot better .The person who will invest him money and time with right approach will remain and others will surely be out .

my site also got hit , Now i could see all blogs and other eCommerce site with less content in the first page where as my site is some where in 100 frankly speaking frustrated, Even my first tiere links web 2.0 propertyies are showing up in the search,

i could see that either sites like amazon ebay and other site that sells product in the first page or crappy site like blogspot blogs with less content in the first page and i think this is the result of the latest update.

That means the end of affiliate , Like amazon and ebay since the amazon and ebay are more organized and are updating regularly

amazon and ebay are does posses major share in online selling but that doesnt mean that there will be no place for other affiliates .Google has not restricted affiliates .they are still doing well .My point is if its a ecommerce website ,or some general adsesne website or some kind of affliate program .The website should be updated more regularly in matter of products, content ,design ,news ,internal links ,tags and much more
Visitors should always be returning to see frequent updates happening into website
