wordpress vs Blogspot

Hey.. has anyone forget that blogspot is G00gle's "son"? I found couple affiliate sites using blogspot ranked very good just recently. Despite the G's Algo update, i think both of 'em have their plus and minus sides . If you ask for a free-host site, i definitely go for blogspot. But if you own self hosted domain, wp is the best.

My vote goes to blogger as I know how to work with that. Never worked on wordpress sites
 
It all depends on what you are using it for, I wouldn't use blogger for my money site but I would use use them to build one way relevant links. Setting up a blog network is difficult to hide but blogger blogs are already on separate ips and servers :)

Most people say that web 2.0 sites are no good because they can be taken away at any time, but Google can take your site away whenever its algorithm dictates so I don't see the difference. Plus I have never had a blogger blog taken or de-ranked in three years but I have had a bunch of my self hosted sites penalized.

Test things out for yourself, its free, then make up your own mind and strategy to suit.
 
Wordpress for versatility and independence from the Google hammer, and Blogspot for ease of use and speed of indexing.
 
Self-hosted WP is the way to go, but if you're a cheapskate and don't want to spend that $1 a month for hosting, then Blogger id better, as free hosted WP is too restricted.
 
I vote for wordpress. Blogger is better for adsense profit. :)

Blogspot: easy for get index by google and easy for de-index by google..
wordpress: i like use wordpress, because its make my website more qualified than blogspot..

just my opinion
