Go for blogspot, I think wordpress.com doesn't allow ads on their free version.

If you are using the free version, then blogspot since wordpress dosent allow ads on their sites.

Otherwise its wordpress on a own domain that is the best

When everyone says they prefer wordpress, please do mind that they are talking about the hosted wordpress blog. You get a copy of wordpress script from wordpress.org and host it on your hosting with your own domain.

wordpress.org doesn't allow ads and blogspot delete blogs with affiliate links like amazon. Use your own domain with wordpress.

Best bet is to use WordPress (self hosted domain). Blogspot is good for new bloggers.

I guess i will chime in also. If you are looking for free, you will need to use blogspot, since wordpress doesnt allow ads. If you have a few dollars, any wordpress site on your own domain is the best.

Wordpress over anything to be honest with you. The amount of SEO plugins and add-ons always give that extra helping hand in SEO.

Yes, the free hosted wordpressdotcom does not allow blog monetizing. You'll be banned if you do that. You can buy your own domain and hosting, and then install wordpress. No problem monetizing with blogspot because Google owns it. However, you can do so much more on a website when you but your own domain and hosting.

buy your own domain and use wordpress... its tons better than blogspot
