Go to your hosting /wp-content/themes/

check if the theme in not in any subfolder and if it is not just rename it.

Do the upload via your hosting cpanel

Maybe plugin clash, Rename your plugin and find which cause the error.
Make sure your plugins are up to date.
Check memory limits.
