Wordpress Theme for SEO?

Hey Guys,

I'm running a blogging site for American sports matches previews, that after changing the Wordpress theme to one called 'mystique', seemed to perish a good few pages down in Google, after ranking well for months. I had a check in an html validator and the results were terrible (although the theme looks good hehe!)

The problem with the previous template was how badly it fitted in with the rest of my site and it's poor customisation.

So the 2 questions are

1 Looking for a white Wordpress theme, that is built for SEO purposes.

2 What's the latest recommendation for a WP SEO pack, since All-In-One appears to have gone down the pan now?

You can find many on here. Studiopress themes and Thesis are popular premium ones. If you want a good free theme that is easily customisable, take a look at the Atahualpa wordpress theme.

I hear and read very good reviews of Thesis theme.

It is easy to set up the design/style you want but it can be a pain when doing minor things like adding a header image or customising the look of the template.

There is plenty of info out there that walks you through it step by step if you need to do something.

I like. Thesis .can add ton of custom design and is great for Seo.
