WordPress Plugins I Use

of above list i use most. Other than that i use ad injection for adsense.

My little list:

WordPress SEO by Yoast - A comprehensive, true all-in-one plugin that takes numerous useful plugins and puts them all into one. This allows you to easily manage your blog's SEO without having to wade through numerous plugins

Akismet - This plugin is the best way to prevent spam from ever appearing on your blog. This is a must when setting up your WordPress site

Bullet Proof Security - This plugin offers true protection for your blog, protecting you from any malicious attacks or exploits that potential hackers may use

SEO Friendly Images - This plugin adds "alt" and "title" attributes to your images, thus improving traffic

SEO Slugs - Makes your post/pages URL's SEO friendly by stripping any unnecessary words like "a" from the URL

W3 Total Cache - W3TC improves the speed of your website, helping your visitors enjoy browsing your site and having a positive impact on your search engine rankings since Google has now started to take into account the speed of your website

What Would Seth Godin Do - Displays custom welcome images to show newcomers and returning visitors (such as asking them to subscribe to your RSS feed or offering a gift for being returning visitors)

Subscribe2 - E-mails those subscribed to your blog whenever you make new posts

I have a wordpress blog installed as a subdomain of my main website and was wondering if I should use Google XML sitemaps for the blog or just add each blog page manually to my main site's sitemap.

Right now I don't have any sitemap for the blog because I'm not sure which way to go - what would you do?

My main site is: www . mainsite . com
My blog is installed at: www . mainsite . com / blog

Any tips?

Nice lists. I use a lot of the same but it's always good to learn of a few new ones.

A bunch of free one's out there, try BackWPUp. BackupBuddy is still the best IMO.

My plugins:
Statpress SEO - best stat monitor, love the graphs and details!
WP Robot 3 - But I don't use it
Post Links - when I want to export URLS for backlinking
SEO Pressor - another onsite SEO thingy
WPsynIT - love it!!!!
Bullet Proof security - to stop those f'ing hackers!!!
XML sitemap - obvious...
WP super cache - Cos I want google to find me quick
SEO search terms - puts incoming search terms on pages/posts
All in one SEO - obvious
Simple add pages or posts - amazing for adding keyword pages for that little bit extra SEO

I use Heatmap PRO 4 (not 5) for my theme.

I also use most of them.

I'm gonna look into customer contact forms... Thanks for the great list!
