Wordpress failed log in on bought Expired Domains

He peeps,

I've bought a namecheap domain, set hosting up, set WP on the site up but i cant log into it. Also there are already 2 articles on the site which i didn't make. Got no clue what i should do here.

Thx if you are willing to help me out a lil!

didn't seem to work, will try again in the morning. Dont know if it takes a while to upload but don't really know the alternative at the moment.

If you know anything else shoot it

So someone has hacked your install and changed the password?

First of all change any cpanel admin and database credentials, obviously editing this in wordpress config files to match.

Then you can go into your database and check the user accounts, and edit the required user from there.

Alternatively just do first step of above, then delete the install and re-upload etc.
 
Can you access the wp-login.php page?

If so, it's just a simple matter of resetting your password, or you can do it directly in the database, by generating an md5 hash version of your chosen password (http://www.md5hashgenerator.com/), and applying it to the relevant user in the wp_users table.

If all else fails, simply reinstall Wordpress.
 
That`s quite strange, I knew that Namecheap`s solutions are quite reliable

Found the problem.

Pretty strange though. NameCheap thought i was a fraud for some reason so they cancelled my payment and refunded the money and didn't let me know anyway so that was the reason.

Anyway much thanks guys!
