Wordpress Blog Redirection Tips!

Wordpress Blog Redirection Tips required:
I want to redirect a site that has been penalized. Now it has been over 6 months, and I have given up on that domain. I have 5000 articles, and I want to redirect everything, including single posts, to a new domain.
1. So when I need to publish new articles on the new domain, will I still need to access the old domain's WordPress admin?
2. Should I add WordPress to the new domain?
3. What do you do to AdSense if the penalized domain still has AdSense? and the new one doesn't. I am thinking of creating 30 articles and doing the redirect after the new domain has been approved.

of course! New domain = new site = new Wordpress = new SEO needed = time needed to wait again to rank

But the problem is that the old domain will pass the penalty onto the new domain when you do the 301 redirection, so I don't think it's a good idea to redirect the old domain to the new one

The issue here is the traffic from social media and other sources. I still want to get that traffic on the new domain.

um, no ??

301 redirections simply redirect URLs, they don't clone sites, DBs, or whatever. If you want to keep everything as before you simply clone the entire site and move it into the folder of the new domain, and then 301 EACH URL of those 5000+ posts to its corresponding URL of the new site (you might have to toy with the DB, though, but I'm not sure about this)

But this is a lot of work, it's just not worth it especially since - like I said - the penalty will be carried over to your new domain, so if you lost your rankings and now you want to 301-redirect to new domain (so you can get your rankings back) then it won't happen because the new domain will inherit the penalty.

One point I'd like to make is that I think there is a way of mass-redirecting the URLs of the old site to the new URLs, but I don't know how to do this, you will have to look this up yourself (or wait for someone else to give you the right coding). But I think it's possible to do this with .htaccess

But yeah, you can't outsmart google in this particular case, so don't waste your time with the redirection. It might actually be better - if the penalty is not big - to try and remove it by fixing the stuff that got you into trouble. Sometimes updating the content is enough, sometimes creating a few internal links is enough, sometimes adding more exact / partial match anchors is enough... there are options, but the big work will be figuring out what has caused the penalty.

On the other hand, if you've received a manual penalty and / or your entire site had been de-indexed... well, you're pretty much screwed at that point, no new domain and millions of redirects will bring back the same content in google

I understand you, but did your social media traffic also collapsed? If it hasn't collapsed, and you don't care about google, you don't need to bother with new domains and redirects, and cloning sites and all that stuff.

If you did lose the social media traffic because of a google penalty, though (I don't see how this could happen, however) then yeah, buying a new domain and 301-redirecting the old one to this new domain would redirect the social traffic to the new domain for sure. But like I said, I can't see a correlation between social media traffic and google penalties, maybe someone can clue me in on this part as I've never heard of such a thing before...

I have decided to give up on this domain because, even if I add new posts, they don't appear anywhere in the top 100, which is weird.
There is no way I can update all those posts. So updating them is a big NO.

man, I just gave you a few examples of what might be wrong. I have no idea whether you need to update the posts or do something else, it's up to you to figure out where the problem is and to fix it, or if you can't be bothered with this simply hire someone to handle it if the site is important to you

Anyway, I've done everything that I could for free and with the little time and info that I had available about your site, from now on it's your call what's next
