    Hi all,

I'm a long time member of BHW but never really got into CPA stuff. I recently came up with a decent idea about how to monetize a specific product and I am trying to build a blog around the product(s). I'm signed up with CJ and copied and pasted the HTML from my partner into wordpress but when I test the links they are being modified by wordpress for being aff links. How do I work around this? Since I am just starting I haven't purchased a domain yet and am just working off wordpress.com.

    Thanks!

Edit: Does tinyurl work? Or will that ruin the aff link?

You can try tinyurl but wordpress does not allow commercial sites on wordpress.com so your blog is probably going to be deleted. Blogspot and webs are more tolerant.

save up the at most 20 bucks you'd need to start and buy a real domain name. imo

Yeah i'm thinking i'll have to just buy a domain. I just figured this would be a quick way to see if this method even had some potential before I started investing

    Thanks for the replies

I was having the same problem. I wonder why more people haven't had this issue.

Anyway, the tinyurl workaround seems to be working! (For now?)

    Buy a .info domain name.

Setup .info domain with redirection to your affiliate link.(Namecheap and GoDaddy allow redirection for free and you will not need any separate hosting)

Use the .info domain as a link in wordpress.com
