Will this Hurt my Site in SEO?

Hello Everyone,

After the helpful content update and EEAT, i did a lot of changes in terms of articles but also in showing expertise in terms of Authors and Reviewers.

I did that by adding the Author/Reviewers Bios and schemas, etc...

Having said that, if I add the exact Author/Reviewers infos into my other sites, will that be considered as duplicate content? or negative in anyway in terms of SEO?

I would not do it. At least not right away.

Expertise should be re-severed for few (ideally one) sources, otherwise it loses value.

Also, it connects the websites, make sure you are OK with that.

Hmmm, that's an interesting insight

When I said doing it to other sites, i meant just one another site.

Knowing that, would you still say that it's best and safe to save the expertise aspect to one site only?

This is basically just laziness.

If I were you, I would just customize the wording, change things around, and change emphasis.

You have to understand that the core lesson behind the most recent Google update is that Google is cracking down on shortcuts.

What you just described is a shortcut.

So put in a little bit more effort by manually recomposing your bios, and also understand that EEAT isn't satisfied by simply putting up a bio.

The actual content must deliver expertise, so there's an accuracy component there as well.
 
If bots can do it, then avoid it. Copy-pasting same content across multiple sites (even if it's author bio) should be avoided. You can actually write a separate set of skills or elaborate those that are specific to the new site.
 
Do these bio's have links showing these people as experts? i.e external links where they are referenced?

If not these bio's will do nothing anyway.

Thank you, that actually makes a lot of sense.

Actually, the content is also helpful and deeply researched aiming to provide actual solution(s) to the readers.

The thing is, even much bigger and authority sites who provide better value most of them have been hit by the google update.

I think in my case, it's due that I did too many roundup reviews in my site, and it overshadowed my informative/tutorial articles, that it started to appear as a commercial site.

That's a good question, some of the readers, and reviewers have their social profiles on their pages, some others don't.
 
Don't add the same author or reviewer information's to your other sites. It will affect your site.
