Will Telegram taking 1st place over whatsapp?
To me I think it will in the future overtake Whatapp overall I never use Whatapp overall I just use Telegram or Wechat and overall to me Telegram you can do so much with it such as make bots,join decent groups,loads faster than Whatapp as well. Pavel Durov is also a lot more liked or popular by people over Zuckerberg over many people thinking Mark is a lizard or alien or something else over him not acting like a human in most people minds. Durov as well will reply to emails I sent him one a while ago he replied back to me quiet quick compare it to anyone who emailed Mark probably never reply back in most casees.

Quite possible, many people prefer it over whatsapp due to security and privacy.

I think a lot of cloud services have Whatsapp business integration, which is pretty huge. Don't think telegram has anything like that (only an API).

Telegram has been making a lot of waves, and it seems to be easier to use when it comes to community groups. A lot of marketers like that feature.
The only downside to the Telegram app is that it does have a steeper learning curve than WhatsApp.
Also, people who know how to market on WhatsApp have a competitive advantage because people are more familiar with WhatsApp phone numbers.
While, just from the look of it, Telegram has a lot of momentum, WhatsApp has enough of an established base that I don't really see it being overtaken by its younger rival in the near future.
But just like what happened with Yahoo! and Google, if Telegram is able to maintain its momentum and simplify its features, I wouldn't be surprised if it does far better than WhatsApp.

I have all three of them installed: Whatsapp, Telegram, Signal; i don't know if it's just my side but lots of people from my whatsapp list started to show up in signal/telegram. In the end i think whatsapp will lose a lot of users because of their stupidity.

Maybe, Personally, I love telegram more than Whatsapp. Maybe Telegram is more lite or easy to use or whatever, But I love to use telegram.

Following their new privacy settings i switched to telegram (There is signal too). Whatsapp is disgusting.
